I needed to replace the hold downs hardware that came with my 4x8 cnc router from industrial cnc. These are the exact same t bolts they used and the clamps are made of plastic so if I mess up at least my bits shouldn't get damaged. Would love an option for longer t bolts for thicker materials

These are great if your in a pinch and for some reason cannot find your other Bench Dogs. The move nicely and feel plenty sturdy. The only downside to these is the wing nut you need to use to tighten down. This can absolutely get tedious if your needing to move your work around. Other than that, A-

The rockers (or clamping dogs?) are not the traditional cast iron found on many clamps of this type; these are just black plastic that is likely to deform if used to hold down steel for a milling operation. However, as the ad copy claims, they are unlikely to mar any reasonably tough surface, so they might be great for applications to do not require high cutting forces, such as machining most plastics or engraving soft metals or wood. Since I sometimes machine plastics, I will keep these, but I will not be ordering any more of them for my purposes. I think that the ad copy could be a bit more clear about what you are getting.

Great product, great value, but these were top listed for "3018 clamps" so their SEO is off a little. I changed out the studs to get them to work for me.
