It’s brilliant, no more hard butter out of fridge and no more sloppy, soft butter when left out in the butter dish. I would highly recommend it. It holds a perfect amount for our family, looks great. We now have fresh, spreadable, perfect butter every time. Clever idea and matches our Le Crouset tableware. Keeps the butter a bit softer than the fridge which is better for spreading.

I've said goodbye to butter spreads and have returned to old fashioned grass fed butter, especially after the introduction of carbon neutralising cattle feed in some brands. Theses are great, they keep butter soft and spreadable. I just wish it was bigger.

Nice, but bigger than described. I use it upside down, like a butter dish without the water element. I just wanted room temp butter for toast or fresh bread. Aside from that, the craftsmanship & colour is lovely.

We all know hard butter us difficult to spread! With this jar I don't need to keep the butter in the fridge! It stays fresh and easy to use at room temperature!!

I loved the idea of using hard, natural butter instead of all the many spreads available. I was a wee bit sceptical about buying this, but it’s been great. Butter is lovely and soft for my morning toast and lunchtime sandwich. There has been the occasional morning when it wasn’t quite as soft as expected, but I do live in the North of Scotland…………
