Superior in every way
I'm glad I made the choice to buy this switch, it is excellent. There are lots of other inline switches available but this has to be the best choice. It is good quality & arrived with a colour leaflet with clear instructions & a diagram showing how to wire it correctly. Simple & works perfectly.

Adequate and Good Value
Bought as I needed to replace a (hard to find) gold coloured in-line switch, but it is also available in black and white versions. The switch is aestheically good, fully functional (no issues thus far), safe (if wired correctly) and very reasonably priced. The only downside is the internal wiring. On the positive side, unlike some similar products, it accepts a three wire connection, so an earth is catered for if required. As is usual, switching is single pole only, so be careful when wiring, however, as there is no terminal labelling it is easy to wire it 'successfully' with only the neutral being switched. If in doubt ask an electrically competent person. The terminals themselves are unreasonably small and wires need to be cut quite accurately as there is little internal space.

It's a switch and it switches
Purchased to replace a broken foot switch in a lamp. Easy to fit and seems secure. So far after using for a few months, it's still working as required.

Repair and Retain
My daughter brought her bedside lamp down as it no longer worked. What could be simpler! I changed the bulb and even fitted an SES LED bulb rather than the 40w original she had in there. It didn't work.Okay, easy enough. I changed the 5A fuse in the plug. It still didn't work. She sensed that the challenge was mounting as she cautioned me that the touch on/off lamp only cost £4 and perhaps we should just throw it away.I refused to give in, and opened the base. There, I found the touch switch module and managed to find an identical one on an Internet auction site for £2 delivered. I sent off for this and patiently waited for it. Rather than disturb the working in the base of the lamp I simply re-soldered all the connections to the new module which were of course identical. It still didn't work. Finally, I sent off for this rather nice switch from Amazon. It only has a 2A rating but this is more than enough even for a 40w bulb let alone the 4w LED one I fitted. I removed completely the touch switch module and pushed the wire out through the little hole in the side of the base of the lamp. This was a little short and rather than attempt to rewire the whole lamp I went with it and just used a little heat shrink tubing to protect the mains wire as I came out of the lamp. This also went into the switch to provide more comfort/security. Wiring the switch was easy. It is just a bit fiddly but if you trim the wires correctly and just take your time. Also please note I just had a Live and Neutral wire, so no Earth. Do not attempt this if you don't know what any of the above means - just throw your lamp away or, I guess, pay an electrician. The switch works beautifully and though the section of wire coming from the base is a teeny bit short the whole thing - well, just works without me throwing it away !

Good Quality Switch
This is a pretty good quality switch, which was easy to install. Good solid 'click'. Don't know how much more there is to say about a switch.

It works so far.
Very good that this item comes with detailed instructions on how to prepare wires for connection to the switch terminals. Exact lengths to cut and strip. I followed these exactly but still found it very difficult to do. The switch casing is small and wiring is therefor very fiddly work. I fail to understand why there are 6 terminals to be wired which makes the job so much more difficult. The only wire which needs to be interrupted is the live. The neutral and earth could pass through the switch case intact which would require cutting and wiring up only one wire to two terminals. SO much easier. The switch seems fragile and only works when the switch case is finally screwed together. How long it will last remains to be seen.
