This is a review in the wolverine v3 pro wireless controller.This controller was bought after the elite 2 I had suffered from stick drift within 30 days of purchase.It is much better than the elite 2 for stick accuracy. The triggers and buttons have a nice click to them like a mouse click.I do find I’m having to move my little finger and ring fingers out of the way of the rear buttons so I don’t press them accidentally as they are quite sensitive to button presses, gives my hand a little cramp, but overall this is a minor point as you can just disable the button programming to press nothing when you aren’t using them and have your hands back in the natural position over the back buttons.Batter holds up pretty well, not quite as long as the elite 2’s but enough for a good couple of gaming sessions.Was easy to set up with the razor app, this is where you can see the controllers battery life, the battery doesn’t show properly like a standard Xbox controller as the controller uses a dongle and it gets a permanent charging reading off the dongle.The weight is lighter than the elite 2 and doesn’t feel quite as premium but it’s doesn’t feel as cheap as a standard Xbox controller.

This is the first high end non Microsoft controller that I've purchased. Firstly, I was finding it hard to see how Razer and Scuf (my alternative choice) could justify a RRP of £150 on their pro controllers. Double the price of most Microsoft ones. I decided against the Scuf controller purely because of their poor warranty. Only six months, which didn't give me any faith in the longevity of their product. I spotted the Razer Wolverine chroma on Amazon warehouse soon after and grabbed it at a substantially reduced price "as new". When it arrived all I can say is the original seal on the box had been cut but replaced. Controller was 100% NEW. I was immediately impressed with the build quality and feel of it and the ability to swap out the joysticks to achieve the feel you want. I usually use Kontrolfreek Galaxy thumbsticks for FPS games and I was able to achieve the same height setup with the supplied additional sticks. Sadly, I couldn't actually use Galaxy thumbsticks because the diameter of the Razer ones are greater than a stock Microsoft controller. An issue on the Chroma controller if you want aftermarket add-ons. The travel and precise feel of the buttons and sticks on the Chroma make it really nice to game on, also the ability to shorten the trigger pull via the stop switches is brilliant for FPS shooters. Using the Razer app downloadable on the Microsoft store allows fine tuning and custom button mapping, including the six additional buttons built into the controller. You can also mess with the lighting effects in the app too. I'd say that after a couple of weeks use that I'm definitely faster in COD etc using this controller and can aim and fire really quickly. I'm playing predominantly in MWII and am Prestige 5 with over7000 in game kills at present, so have a fair bit of game time to assess this difference. In conclusion, I like the Razer Wolverine Chroma so much I would actually buy it at the regular price. My bargain is just another plus in this purchase. Like most companies they then email offers etc. I got a code for £17 discount online earlier this week.

Extremely good controller, great ergonomics apart from the loss of the textured rubber on the v2. can see myself enjoying my time with it. little pricy for just a controller, but worth it if you got the moneyExtra paddles and bumpers are a massive plus... only draw back for xbox users is that the guys a Razor need to update there app for the controller so you can combo buttons together/hotkey when customising you button layout for example I play Warframe alot and would like to combind RB + A, X, Y ,B and attach it to one of the paddels/Bumpers (ie hotkey my abilities). Right now all you can do is re-map or add same buttons in a different area...Everything else about the controller though is great. definetly worth the buy... Hopeing that Razer will see this so they can add a update to the app.

As a long time gamer on both pc and xbox this is hands down the best controller I have ever bought (and I've purchased plenty over the years)...If your on PC this controller polls at 1000hz (I've tested it) with the best thumb sticks I've ever used (hall effect thumb sticks so never get stick drift)... (for 1000hz PC mode press function + menu and A button, shows green light on controller)--(for 250hz xbox mode press function + menu and X button, shows white light on controller)You can also remap any of the six extra buttons including keyboard binds using the latest razor synapse software (game changer for me to have keyboard binds on the controller 100%)...For me it's literally the perfect controller, I've had no problems at all so I'm guessing that all the negative reviews were on older firmware or they never updated the controllers firmware from stock, this you need to do and can be done on both xbox and pc...Do I recommend this controller, absolutely, Zero buyers remorse here very happy with it, a great price too (I paid £100)...Build quality 10/10...In game use (how it feels to use) 10/10...Value for money 10/10...Review date 11th June 2025...
