MakitaXCU11Z 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 14" Chain Saw, Tool Only

I bought this saw to take out to do power restoration during storm situations and as a lineman I’ve seen some saws have to some heavy work so I was a bit reluctant with this purchase but found that on the very first storm, I got this saw out and it preformed like a professional, strong, fast saw. It was light but cut like a heavyweight!Love it, use it, don’t go out without it!!!!

Love this thing, not loud, starting it couldn’t be easier. I have 6- 4amp batteries and that keeps me going for two to three hours non stop. I’ve cut down and cut up 8 trees (mostly beachwood) up to 12 inch across. No complaints, just make sure you still have blade oil in the reservoir when using for prolonged amounts of time.

I have all makita and some 36 Vtools. I was hesitant to get this chainsaw as an 18 V, but the price was so good at the time I had to get it. I am very glad I did! I’m not chopping down full grown trees or anything, but this saw cut through 14 inches of hard cherry tree with zero problems.

Own lots of Makita tools and they have never failed me. This saw is no exception. I expect it to last a lifetime.

It comes with chain abd round nose bar with a guard when not in use. Love safety feature and the fac no plugs nor gas - easy to use easy to put together and instructions very easy ..fairly light to handle being older is important .. can adjust chain very easily. sure helped me cut a tree or thick branches. Like you can order more batteries cheap with a charger. I already had a charger from a previous Makita product. Definetly would promote this product. I got it on sale and that was a plus. Ordering 2 more batteries n they charge fast . Pour was really surprising. Men or women can handle this with confidence. Like the safety feature and can see the oil gage easily.

Cuts through relatively large branches with ease. The chain oil delivery system seems to work well, doesn't over oil. I did have 2 occasions where the chain jumped off the bar. This only happened while cutting through very small branches simultaneously when was skipping around. Overall very pleased

We have 4 gas powered chainsaws and unless I am cutting something very large this is my go to saw. I usually run 5 amp batteries and it lasts roughly 45 minutes to an hour on a single charge.
