Otterbox Samsung Galaxy S7 Strada Leather Folio Case - Phantom Black

Great case and cover to protect my investment, I bought it to stop me from autodialling relatives abroad so a money saver for me.Haven't worked out what the space between the back of the phone and the case is all about, could be an impact zone or for a spare £10 for emergencies.Suits me as a man with medium/large handsPlus points;Robust, well designed, great fit and good materials throughout. I had a cheaper cover for a different Galaxy where the plastics broke up after a few months, I do not foresee this happening with this product.Qi charging still works through the cover.Side buttons and ports accessible and easy to use.Touch/wireless card payment technology still works.Magnetic closure very effective.Minus points;Makes the S7 a bit chunky, as the S7 is pretty thin I didn't mind, but others may do.Hides the S7 great looks.Inner card/credit card pocket a bit tight and I could make use of it. However the fabric is so tough it took the beating I gave it to insert and remove a credit card without any visible damage.

This case is superb. I bought it to replace one of the same kind which had held up very well for two years until I lost the phone.The good points are that the case holds up. I dropped my phone hundreds of times and never any damage. The clever design of this case holds the cover open when using the phone and closed when not in use.The bad points. The metal part which the magnet sticks to can come off quite easily. Mine did twice. Repairing is easy. First I used super glue which lasted a few months. My second repair used epoxy resin which lasted much longer (well over a year, till i lost the phone).On the S7 Edge, the case does not work as well. The magnet has trouble doing it's job. On the regular S7, it's a dream. I would choose this case over any other.These S7 phones are (rediculously) made completely of glass. This case protects them and looks great.

This case is amazing... Originally bought for my phone... Had the phone for 2 years with the same case and my phone still looked brand new! I had dropped it a few times and this case kept my phone safe... After upgrading my phone I gave my old one to my daughter and purchase the same case only new and its protecting her phone just like it did mine. Cannot rate this highly enough... Just wish they made them for other brands of mobiles as I buy this again and again and again!

This will keep your phone safe, however, if you use the side pocket as a wallet for your cards, over time the pocket will loosen and then it won't hold the card very securely, the constant action of removing and putting back the cards also destroys the inside lining over time which ends up looking very tattered and quite bad.This is a brilliant case that does the job, just don't use the side pocket!

This is a quality product - a soft leather case with a snug fit and secure magnetic clasp which allows full access to your phone for charging, and all buttons and touchscreen functions. Absolutely delighted with it, would recommend it to anyone.

Typical otterbox quality.Screen and camera recessed & well protected. Magnetic catch works well.Note it does leave an impression of the pattern on the back of the cover the screen initially (it wipes off anyway). This stops with time.It may seem chunky to some, but that is what is protecting the phone - I'll go with that over a broken screen :-)

I've had this case for three weeks now.I've always had quality leather cases that totally enclose the phone.So far it's working well.I believe with otterbox I'm getting good solid protection which is something I want when I've brought an expensive phone and it's got to last 18 months mimiumn.I wonder how long the opening tab will last with constant opening.It flexes so I considers this a potential issue but time will tell.The card holder is not the best design but then it's a phone case not a wallet.The phones buttons can be accessed with the cover in place which I like.Overall I like this case and the protection it's giving.
