Holiday Activity Book (Usborne Activities) Pocket Book – 1 May 2012

We enjoyed this book hugely. The format is great for working on it if you can sit down somewhere (rainy / indoors days etc.) and the variety of activities is engaging and fun. We were very pleased with this book and there's still lots to do, as kids naturally tend to choose their preferred activities first and leave those that aren't as "easy" for them but still are presented in an engaging form. There's a similar version which is offered in the form of an activity pad, which might be more suitable for journeys on planes and cars, again, very nicely done and well received & enjoyed by our kids.

Brilliant!! Waiting for lunch or trying to have a quiet coffee on holiday need never be stressful again with kids when you have this little book and a packet of crayons handy! Perfect distraction for our son. We bought one for every age group as we have 3 children and they absolutely loved them. They lasted right up until the plane journey home! Highly recommend.

Three of our grandchildren are at a really inquisitive stage of their development. These sorts of books are ideal to keep them mentally stimulated when the weather precludes us taking them out. Lots of variety and interest all in one place.

I have come to expect a lot from Usborne, and once again I am not disappointed. Good quality paper and pictures inside of ferries, planes, seaside, all the things you would want to represent a holiday. This together with the marvellous Usborne colouring and doodling book for boys/girls, makes a fantastic holiday present!

As with all Usborne books, this one did not disappoint. I bought it for my 7 year old son and he loves most of the puzzles and activities in it. Whatever he doesn't like, I do! Great to take anywhere, on holiday, to Nana's, or just to have in the house on a wet day, very useful for dipping into if you have 20 minutes when you want the kids to stop fighting with each other.

This was great for keeping my 10 year old occupied while we were on holiday, on the flight & also while we were back at our hotel room. There are lots of puzzles, word searches and colouring pages which he really enjoyed.

Absolutely brilliant, pages upon pages of lovely activities to keep children of all ages happy - mine are 4,5 and 10 and all loved this book from the airport to the villa and back home again.

Looks good, purchased for my 7yr old nephew to keep him occupied on a flight and on his summer holiday.

We travel a lot with our little kids and they love it. Totally recommendable with different, it has many different types of activities.

Ho acquistato questo libro da usare in un campus estivo d'inglese per ragazzine italiane. Il libro è piaciuto molto e il livello di inglese era perfetto (5a elementare). Le attività sono divertenti, non molto impegnative, ma stimolanti.

Se lo he comprado a ami hijo de 7 años para poder hacer actividades mientras se practica inglés. Quizás no es para su edad sino para niños mayores o más avanzados en inglés. Es muy divertido y practicamos vocabulario.
