This book is outstanding, by far the best instructions I've found anywhere on psilocybin mushrooms. Seth is a really good writer, concise and clear without falling into repetitive or dumbed-down language. The sections on micro and macrodosing are helpful and comprehensive while staying short and useful.Unlike nearly every other source I've read, the growing instructions here absolutely clear and unambiguous. The photos are visually clear and focus exactly on what you need to see with no distractions. It's easy to understand why a step is important, what details need special care, and in the few cases where there's an optional step or component it's super obvious. And yet it's also got some personality and doesn't just feel like a dry instruction guide.Maybe you've spent time reading other books that unhelpfully dance around the specifics, or on online message boards with threads dating back 10 years or more with hundreds of totally conflicting opinions or outdated information. Or you've tried to sort the basics from baffling expert instructions that seem aimed at growing on an industrial scale. You will be relieved to know that there is none of that here. I can hardly think of a book of instructions on ANY topic that is as well-done as this, just buy it right now.

I've been very curious about the process of cultivating mushrooms and this book addressed all my questions and has actually motivated me to set out to grow my own. A great read! I enjoy growing houseplants yet sometimes struggle, but the step-by-step photos and instructions within this book are so straightforward - I am now going to try to grow some mushrooms. The information about microdosing is super helpful too, especially for a newbie like me. This book has great respect for the ability of mushrooms to improve our lives and relationships. The author really wants you to enjoy the experience and succeed with both the experience and growing your own. I cannot believe how well this book explains the cultivation process and lays out the information with great pics! All the pictures are very helpful, and I appreciate the checklists, which definitely make this process actually doable. I kept learning new things - I had no idea that Uncle Ben's Rice could be used to grow mushrooms.

Every aspect of growing, caring for and the potential benefits of mushroom cultivation are covered in this book. I'm not an avid reader either but the author holds you along with the multitude of visual references. Definitely an excellent source of knowledge.
