This is a great can opener! I used it first while I was taking care of my daughter’s kitten while she was away. She brought it over for us to use. It opens the cans such that nothing is sharp and it creates a way to use the top AS a top in the refrigerator too. It sits on top, sits closely enough such that I am comfortable using it as the top for a few days. It stays on and can be used several days in a row. One more thing! It is very attractive. I got the dark red handled one and love it. Easy to use!! Easy to clean. Strong. Sturdy. Nice size!

Works great and easy to use on my first 16 oz can.

I was about to return this item because I wasn’t sure if it worked and then I realize that it cuts the can so smoothly that it almost looks like it doesn’t work. But just try using it as directed and then remove the lid and you will be amazed.

Works smoothly and quickly! It's easier to use than other can openers of this type. The opening of the can is a bit jagged however, it's not as bad as a regular can opener but not as smooth of a surface compared to other ones that cut like this, so just be careful.

This opener operates smoothly, uncrimping the lid as opposed to cutting into the lid. So the opener stays clean, (no goo stuck in the gears) and no sharp edges! You can see the mechanism engage with the can which is an improvement over the original types where it was hidden, and there was a techique to using it.This opener is very good quality and I highly recommend it! .

This can opener is so smooth & effortless to operate & takes lids off so easily. Love how clean it the cuts lids off with no jagged edges & no more hurting hands like the old ones. Takes a minute to figure out it’s even cutting since it cuts outside of top instead of inside & first csn was open before I could even tell! Nicely designed product & highly recommend.

I had purchased this hoping it could help my kids open cans easier AND safely without cutting themselves with edged lids or only getting the lid partially opened. It is easy peasy and has comfortable grip! And no worries about accidents! Kudos, kudos!

Does not work like a traditional can opener. It breaks the side seal of the lid on the can rather than cutting a hole in the top. Son of a Gun it works!

Nice design, easy to use. Took a star because the little magnet on the side does nothing...I thought it lifted the lid off once removed.
