The Winees WiFi Water Leak Detector (3 Pack) has been one of the best purchases I’ve made for home protection. I’ve had a recurring issue with what looks like an overflow pipe in my garage, which connects to the upstairs bathrooms. Every so often, when the pipes clog, raw sewage from the toilets backs up and spews out into the garage — an absolute nightmare.Thanks to this water leak detector, I now get instant notifications via the app, email, and SMS the moment it detects moisture. The last time the overflow happened, I was notified immediately, and I was able to shut off the water and call a plumber before the mess got out of control. That alone saved me hundreds of dollars in cleanup costs and possible damage.Setup was super easy — the sensors come pre-paired with the hub, and everything connected to my 2.4G WiFi in minutes. The 200-meter range is more than enough for my garage and basement. I also like that the alarm is adjustable and can be muted from the app or hub quickly — no scrambling for buttons when your phone buzzes at 2 a.m.The sensors are thin (just 1.8mm) and discreet, and the IP66 waterproofing gives me confidence they’ll last, even in a high-humidity space like the garage.Bottom line: if you’ve got any risk of flooding, backflow, or leaks — especially with older plumbing — this is a must-have. I wrote a one-star review a couple of weeks ago because my Winees water leak detector system was completely unreliable.HOWEVER, I have good news to report: after the cause of the problem was discovered to be the WiFi radio in the hub, their Customer Support rep sent me a new hub right away — and my system hasn’t so much as hiccuped since.It’s important to note that the hub-to-sensors connection never failed, so if I were home during a leak event I’m satisfied that I would have heard an alarm. The WiFi radio to the internet was the culprit.So I’ve upgraded my review to 5 stars: four stars for the hardware, and an additional star for their Support!

Workee perfect, warned me the sump pump crock was full

We purchased the AiDot Hub and 3 sensors. From the beginning this product has not worked for us. We would get it setup and on Wi-Fi and then it would disconnect for no reason. We reached out several times and tried all the troubleshooting and it does not work. It’s been frustrating and not so user friendly nor is the customer support readily available for providing practical help. We recommend buying a different water sensor system.UPDATE: Winees reached out and sent another Hub and sensors stating that perhaps there was a hardware issue with our previous purchase. We have set it up and will give it a few days to see if it stays connected…we’re hoping that’s the case. Stay tuned…it has been over a month now and they are still working fine. Perhaps it was a defective hub. Now we feel it was a worthy investment for staying alert to possible leaks.
