Great product for anybody who owns or works on big 18 wheeler or other commercial/industrial diesel engine. Comes with bunch of different connectors to adapt to different models. Also works pretty well on normal cars. Does just about everything you could imagine and probably more. For what your getting its a pretty good deal certainly beats snap on

If you go down to the local dealer they can scan your truck for free... this needs wifi set up.. its not a hook and scan... if you have no internet or bad interenet... like slow in rural .. farm areas... dont buy

This is an extremely handy tool to have on hand for when the dreaded “check engine” light turns on. I have many OBD II cars and trucks as well as a Freightliner diesel truck, and this scanner covers them all. The kit includes all the adapters necessary to connect to and analyze issues from any of my vehicles.I really like that the unit is WiFi capable and can easily updated for life through this means. I also like that diagnostic reports can be emailed or printed for hard-copy reference and that there is built in SD card capability for data report storage. This is an absolutely awesome comprehensive tool that is a must have for anyone who works on their own vehicles, so it earns the top rating from me!

Normal scanners dont work on HD trucks and was nice to see this one pop up. I plugged it in to my F550 and it recognized it immediately. It had access to all systems and modules. There is no power button on this, you just need to plug it in to the diagnostic port and it will come on automatically. I connected it to wifi and was able to quickly activate the unit and enter my info in. Then I went to the upgrade page and it found updates for everything in it. I hit the update all button and about 20mins later everything was updated. Overall, a really nice unit that has all the functions for HD trucks. It comes with a few adapters too for the various vehicles. Its fairly expensive but its one of the few tools for HD trucks. Definitely can recommend!

Tool works fantastic. Allows me to self diagnose issues and pending issues. I can make some repairs myself and am confident that when I have someone else make the repairs they are working on the correct problem. Either way saves me money. I can also reset/clear codes and make system adjustments. Also works as an ODB2 scanner for all my other vehicles. If you own or operate a big rig tractor you need this tool.

This scanner will not do anything for the Ford 6.7 power stroke. Had to buy a 150 scanner that out performs this scanner in many ways with code reading and forced regens.

I'm an older seasoned automotive technician, I'm reviewing this product based on my many years of experience in the field using high quality tools. This hand held Automotive OBD2/Heavy Truck scanner is supposed to be for both automotive and heavy truck diagnostics. Have a heavy duty scanner in the shop already, but thought a backup would be a good idea. Hooked it up to a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze with the diesel engine in it, and it would not give any data stream information. Hooked it up to a Ram pickup with a gas engine, it did give basic data stream information. We work on a lot of automotive based diesel engines and was hoping this scanner would be an addition to what we already have in the shop, guess not. Haven't hooked it up to a heavy truck yet, but have one coming in in the near future that will require some diagnostics, so we will see at that time what it is capable of and I'll revise this review as needed at that time. The scanner was very difficult to gain access, had to go through an activate process which requires wireless internet, which we do not have in the shop. The scanner doesn't have a battery pack in it, but it does have a USB port, so attached it to the computer thinking it might power up and could activate from there, no such luck. So ended up taking the scanner to my home, sat out in the driveway with the scanner hooked up to a vehicle so the scanner would be powered up, then connected to my wireless from my house to get through the activation. That was a huge hassle in my opinion and have never had to deal with something like that with any scanner I have ever used or purchased in all my years of working in the repair industry. The scanner prompts and selected programs were okay, but not exceptional. The screen is small, but readable. Does come with an instruction manual that is at least readable, though not as in depth as I think it could be. Kit comes with the OBD2 cord, 5 and 9 pin connector, along with the CAT 9 connector. The scanner did not come with a USB cord, but yet they talk about being able to upload the information from the scanner after testing a vehicle to your computer, but have to wonder how that will happen when the USB cord I used would not power the unit up? Too many little things at this point make me wary of this scanner and it being considered a productive tool in my shop. Price point is considered high for this item given what I've already gone through with it.
