I’ve been in the food industry since I was old enough to wash dishes in my uncles restaurant eventually becoming a respected chef in the community. I’ve worked in more restaurants than I’d like to remember and used just about every kitchen tool imaginable. This is… the second best kitchen torch I’ve used…and the price point makes it amazing. My other torch, I ourchased on the restaurants account, cost me nothing but sold for roughly 5x this guy. It’s a good tool, burns hot clean and even; especially with the precise fuel air mix and overall btu adjustment knobs. The stand is also a huge factor. Clips on to the tank securely and keeps it stable, and the bright orange makes it easy to know exactly where it is at all times. Works great on crème brûlée, a quick toasted sandwich roll, perfect for melting cheese on a rare burger and making presentation just right on baked dishes. Highly recommend this product, for home and industry use. Great job Jo!** now after a few months of use there are a few issues. Ignition is failing and it nearly exploded in my hand as the entire handle burst into flames. Neither of which are uncommon of your lower end torches. All in all I’m not as satisfied with its performance as I initially was. It was simply a decent bargain torch not unlike any u you can find at a local gas station but without the convenience store mark up. Good for the average user but someone using it every day will notice the flaws and basically work it to death. I would give it 3-3.5 stars

We love the ease of attaching it to the canisters and the adjustable flame. It makes quick work for crème brûlée.Looking forward to using it on more foods.

Update 10/5/2023: Customer service is amazing. They have even reached out to me after the fact to double check if everything is going ok with my replacement. Which it has, I had the chance to try it again in the exact same way they last one broke while doing, and it works just fine. I appreciate how they handle things. Cerine said "From day 1, making sure the customer is happy was the #1 priority" not verbatim lol. But that's the summery. This seems like a really good company. Cerine, the service rep that has been in touch with me, has been beyond helpful and extremely prompt as well. As mentioned, my replacement was here seemingly overnight. I can think of a few companies that could take a note or two from them...Begin Original Review:I bought this product, probably to be used slightly outside of its product description. However, the one I got actually ended up breaking the very first time I used it.Note: I was actually using it to light a fire, still pretty outside of the product description, but nothing crazy. It was also approaching 90 degrees on this day. A lot of heat involved in this situation.Long story short, the knob broke, I mentioned an even shorter version of what happened to the seller and now I have a new head unit waiting to be tested which seemed like it showed up overnight. I believe I last spoke with the seller on the 26th of this month and the replacement showed up yesterday, the 27th. So sometime between the 25th and 26th the seller had already made effort to have the replacement shipped.Pros--It totally works as described.-I ordered the set which has 2 tanks included, was a good value.-The price is not so bad. For the head unit and 2 tanks of fuel, I can live with this.-You get some free recipes-Apparently you get really good customer service! Because my issue was address pretty much immediately leaving me with a brand-new unit really quickly.Cons-The knob on the top of my first unit totally stopped working which makes the device unusable unless you can fix it. I could not fix mine. Please keep in mind, it is a device with plastic parts that creates heat, I was using it on a really hot day to do something that ultimately makes more heat. Circumstances were not in favor of the device at all.Additional note: It looks like if you have the know-how and the stuff around, the knob can be fixed and made to work again. However, I did not know until I took it apart to investigate nor do I have the tools available to do so. With that being said, I was loving the torch until it broke. It worked well for me and was very reliable until that moment. However, with the level of responsiveness and care from the seller I would have no problem buying another one as long as they don't keep breaking, lbvs. I will update here if there are any issues with the replacement going forward.I was originally going to give it less stars but considering how well this was handled, unless I have additional problems, I am giving them 5 stars because they took care of the issue really well.

So far so good. Seems easy to use. New purchase but was fairly easy to assemble and used it to torch an orange peel and worked pretty well. Way better than my older one had to refill and hurt hand using. Can't wait to experiment with it for more fun cooking.

canister is very easy to use. Push the torch head down onto the canister, slight twist, open the valve to allow the butane to flow and lit easily. The butane flow control knob works very well and torch is going full the instant I ignited it. Turned the flow knob closed, screwed the torch head off and put the canister on the shelf. Very user friendly for a soldering newbie.

No dislikes it works great

I always wanted one of these so jumped on it when price reduced. It is a great produce for searing meat and starting my charcoals very quickly. Very handy.

Really great torches for cooking and cigars!!
