Great hose, but might fail if you often pull it too taut.
This is a great hose that my 80+ year old mother can use (75 ft length) easily around the yard. Yes the flow is reduced from our old heavy hose, but it is well worth it.I'm not sure if it was the updated version that I bought two years ago, but sometime last summer it began to leak badly at the male end. We missed it though so I got another one that so far is good.Just this week I decided to cut open the first one and found that the center tube had pulled free from the end fitting. With the thing stretched out a bit that inner tube also pulled back a foot or so into the steel sleeve. I cut more sleeve to expose it. The inner hose was undamaged. Whatever bonding was used on it had simply let go.I can't be certain, but I'm guessing that you want to be careful not to pull this hose taut too forcefully since the sleeve will stretch more than the inner tube. I can't say if that's what happened for us or not.I'll also note that I disassembled the end piece and that is beautiful! Five-piece anodized aluminum screwed together and includes a bearing race and stainless balls in that to ease turning! I wasn't expecting that and lost a few balls.I still love the hose. Just don't yank on it! I may find a way to put a new end on this first one too.Again, maybe it has been updated to be stronger since I bought this first one.

Super lightweight and reliable hose!
Best hose ever! I have been using this hose for a year and have had no problems, no leaks no kinks, and it is super lightweight and is very flexible! Also, it is alot less bulky than standard type hoses.

Durable-Lightweight
I've had 2 of these for about 2 years now. they are lightweight, kink free and easily coil to about 12 inches in diameter. These are very durable, no leaks whatsoever.

The hose has been great, but included nozzle broke after about a year-and-a-half of light use
The hose has been great since mid-June, 2023. Easy to use and never kinks. However, the spray nozzle that came with it has broken and is now useless. I have no idea what caused the break, as we don't use it a lot, and rarely during the colder month. We live in FL, so it rarely gets even near freezing, and the nozzle is kept in the shade of shrubbery when not in use, so the sun should not have affected it. No vehicles can come into our yard, so it was never run over. Before it broke, the nozzle was great, easy to use and adjust. But now we will have to get a new one.

Love this hose!
Love this hose!I can’t believe how amazing this hose is. I have had it for a month now and using it is such a pleasure compared to all the other hoses I’ve ever had, and mind you I’m in my 60s! I don’t have to fight with it as it’s so flexible and easy to coil. Price was reasonable too. Very happy with it.

Exactly what I needed.
I tried several coiled or expandable hoses, but none came close to their identified length. I have many houseplants, and carrying watering cans to them all was tedious, time consuming and usually messy, dripping everywhere. We have an outdoor faucet inside a kitchen closet, so this connection works well. There may be an adapter availaible for a sink faucet. This hose reaches its full length, is fairly lightweight, and coils back into a pail or onto a hook with no kinks, and a nice hand feel of steel instead of rubber or plastic. Some buyers have complained about low water pressure, presumably because of a narrower than usual interior hose diameter, but for indoor use, on potted plants, that is an advantage. So far no leaks; I ran it across the floors for its entire length and left the water in it for a good hour. It makes inside watering so much easier that I’m likely to do it much more regularly. The spray attachment works well, is light weight but not flimsy, and doesn’t drip. This hose would be good for beds outside with flowers, but might not be what one would want for shrubs or a large vegetable garden.

BEST HOSE AND NOZZLE I have ever owned
I had a really good quality expanding hose for many years. The last one lasted the longest and appeared the toughest. So I replaced the back garden hose with this metal one. It looked light weight (It truly is amazingly light and so flexible around all my Many Obstacles. I wasn’t even interested in getting this Nozzle. I was taught many years ago by my Mother, our family Green Thumb, “A brass twister nozzle is the only one you are ever going need. You the one that allows you to mist by twisting it.” I bought so many beautiful looking plastic ones. They always clogged or broke, or both. Finally the last 20 yrs or so, I have been using the one she told me all along. But when this arrived I was all set to probably donate it to the local charity I love. But I tried it and I am glad I did! I love the smooth transition as you shut the water off from the handle. The many options are great. I use Shower, Jet, Full, or Soak the most.I mostly only thought I needed 50’. I could always make it stretch. But to be honest, I just mostly neglected the hardest to reach. No more! The 75’ will mostly always be in my way. But it is so easy to move, and no waiting for it to fill. Plus that easy quick On/Off, is fantastic. Plus while I temporarily move about, if it is in the Off position, I’m not always worried that I am going to damage the hose from too much pressure.I highly recommend them both. Plus take it from me, get the’25’ more than you need. A good attentive gardener will be expected to have a hose laying around. You can move it, or find some storage for it. I use a large plastic flower pot. But I need something larger now to fit all of it.I feel like I want to water more now while it’s not raining much. That’ll mean my garden will be lush.

Love this hose! Wish I'd gotten a longer one.
Great hose! Pricey but worth it. I've used the expandable, fabric ones and eventually the fabric wears a hole or two from dragging around on my concrete patio. This one is totally not going to be a problem! It takes up more "room" than the fabric ones that get really small but well worth the longevity. Wish I'd gotten the 50' one.
