Incredible sound - even if it weren’t budget priced!
This soundbar is well built, and much higher quality than other soundbars I’ve tried in this price range. Frankly, unless you have unlimited budget, I would start and stop my search right here. As I saw in other reviews, my first toe-in-the-water moment was with Too Gun: Maverick. The sound produced by this thing sounds like a surround studio 5.1 or 7.1. The fact that this is a 3.1 with Atmos takes it up a notch so that other similar soundbars simply can’t compete. The bass rumbles. It is really cool to have a theater-like experience in the living room! I cannot recommend this enough!Set up is really easy. My TV is an LG, but it has no trouble with compatibility. Set it up as a pass through and no matter whether I’m streaming, watching OTA, or BluRay, the remote I’m using can control the sound. As others have mentioned, the remote is of high quality build, and you have many different options for types of sound, as well as an independent control for the subwoofer. My wife prefers the Voice Enhancing setting. While it does blunt the bass some, there is still a very strong bass to be felt. My preference is the Movie setting. It maximizes the Atmos experience and the bass explodes, and you feel like you’re watching at a theater, but in your own recliner.I highly recommend this soundbar.

Great price for the quality of the product
Excellent sound quality! You get the best experience using Bluetooth. I haven't tried a HDMI yet, but I definitely will.

Very happy
Needed more sound for our bedroom since the samsung tv speakers were going out. Its the perfect amount of sound for a smaller room. A subwoofer would have been nice but not really Needed in the bedroom.

Excellent Soundbar from Philips
The media could not be loaded. I was reluctant to get this soundbar because of the few reviews available online and because I recently purchased two other brands (Sony then Samsung) that I didn't like and had to return. With 3.1 channels and 600 Watts this soundbar delivers a great sound quality and a powerful bass from the wireless subwoofer. It is easy to install and comes equipped with all the bells and whistles of the more expensive soundbars, such as wifi, Alexa and Google support, Spotify, and is provided with a quality built and powerful wireless subwoofer. The soundbar supports DTS:X as well as all Dolby formats including Vision and Atmos. For this to work you need to connect the soundbar to the TV using high speed HDMI 2.1 cable and adjust the TV audio to "pass through". To test Atmos I played Top Gun Maverick on Paramount+ and the sound was great with some decent Atmos effects. For a $199.00 I am quite content with this purchase. I recommend it for anyone looking for excellent audio experience at an affordable price.

SHUTS OFF AFTER 15 MINUTES
If you are going to use this for a TV, and if you are streaming or using an Apple TV, and using the HDMI/ARC connection beware…..this speaker shuts off after 15 minutes. There is NO WAY to turn this feature off. So, if you have a picture slide show running on your TV, and no sound through the bar for 15 minutes, the sound bar will turn off, and you will not have any picture through your TV anymore, as the signal runs through the bar, and that just shut off. Also, the Alexa integration is terrible. Works almost never, more of a hassle to get it to connect and work than it’s worth. The PlayFi app is glitchy and not well done. The sound of the bar and sub is OK. Not amazing, but for $200 it’s not a bad sounding bar.The issue that really ruins this sound bar for me is that it shuts off after 15 minutes, and you cannot turn that setting off. It’s automatic, and locked in. I have searched and called their support (which is also horrible, getting a human on the phone is like trying to call the POTUS) and they told me that there is no way to turn off the automatic shutdown after 15mins.I would return this sound bar if I could.

Meh
Decent, but not any better than one I bought 5 years ago for the same price. Keeps losing connection and isn't much louder than my Bluetooth speakers. Not worth more than $100 new.

Great sounding Soundbar for the Money in
I have the Phillips Sound bar 3.1 really shines watching movies. The Atmos surround is really good in my OP the sound reflects off the ceiling. The Bass is good not great but I am in a condo and thats why I did not go with the JBL soundbar which I was focused on. I would buy again for $149.99 BF deal.

Good value Prime Day Deal
This soundbar replaced an older Philips 5 speaker home theater setup for a bedroom TV. Took awhile to manually program a code that allows you to control the volume up/down function from an Amazon Fire TV stick remote, but it works and sounds great.
