I have 2 big Leyland Cypress growing in the front of my house which needed to be trimmed. I had someone come and trim them, and it cost me $100. Well after doing my “homework” on line, I found the Luxbird lightweight hedge trimmer on line for less than what I paid to have them trimmed. This trimmer comes with 2 rechargeable batteries, a charger cord, a pair of safety glasses, a pair of gloves and a grass trimmer attachment. I’ve only used it twice so far and I can tell your that it works with no problems. I’ve already re-cooped my $100 that I spent to have someone come and trim the bushes. Oh and the hedge trimmer is adjustable see the first 2 images.

We bought this item to trim grass close to some small trees we had planted. The blades are not very sharp. It get the job done but you have to make several swipes to get all the grass cut.

I am so happy thing works as advertised! Came with two batteries and two cutter heads. I have used it to clear the grass around 300 blackberry plants in my orchard (I cut close to the stems so the weed eater dosent cut down the berry plant). It is easy to use and is light enough it dosent wear out my arm, hand, or back. Does a good job with thick grass and heavier seed stems. It is not made to tackle woody stems or stalks bigger than a pencil width.

I was inspired to purchase the Luxbird 2 in 1 trimmer because another reviewer uses these to access hvac units. People love to plant bushes in front and around havc units and generators. You return to service the equipment only to find everything overgrown around it. I didn’t use them at work today so I did a little trimming at home. The trimmers exceeded my expectations. I will be keeping them on my work van. Make sure to get some blade guard that you apply to the cutting blades. It cleans, protects and lubricates the blades to keep it running at top performance and the batteries will last longer.

I bought these trimmers on a whim. Didn’t really need them, but thought they might make it easier to trim creeping fig on our back wall.I didn’t open them immediately when they arrived. I needed to trim, so I opened the box, charged the batteries, and they do not work at all.Of course, the refund period over now.I’m out $45. Lesson learned.

This trimmer was lightweight and easy to handle, which added to its appeal.However, while using it for the third time, the motor started smoking and abruptly stopped working. Despite my initial satisfaction, I'm very disappointed with this product given the high reviews.Given this experience, I can't recommend this product for anyone looking for a reliable, long-term solution for their gardening needs. The media could not be loaded. Came well packaged with everything pictured. The trimmers are light weight and powerful enough to cut well. I have a larger corded trimmer but sometimes you want to just trim something quick, these are perfect, no cords all over the yard. I’m very happy with them, the batteries last long enough that one is charged before the other runs out, they lasted a little over an hour on one charge. The two blades make it easy to get about any spot. I would recommend them for anyone that quickly wants to do a bunch of hedge or bush trimming.
