Feeding themselves, Hand eye coordination, development of pencil grip
The media could not be loaded. These multipurpose transferring tools are great when developing wrist and hand muscles for writing (pipettes), as well as cutting with scissors ( scissor scoops). They also help build children’s confidence when feeding themselves !When storing the pipettes be careful not to place them near anything sharp or with an edge as I have had 2 pop. However the quality of these materials are excellent and parents have given feed back about the level of confidence these materials have given children when feeding themselves

Another great product fro Learning Resources.
The media could not be loaded. A tub of fun! Can be used with water, sand, collecting things, scooping, just having fun. There are 4 different tools. The easiest to use is the large plastic ball scissors, no pressure needed and very satisfying to pick things up, described as 'scoop'. The next is the orange ball tweezer described as 'squeeze'. Then 'pinch' and 'grab', all great important motor skills. The set is aimed at classroom setting, there are 6 of each tool. Also just great to have at home, some fun with friends. The quality of each tool is perfect, no sharp to hurt little hands. At the time of review £45.99, great price for a great product. The set is aimed at groups and comes in a container with screw on lid. Lightweight so easy for young children to pick up, so also good for allowing children to take responsibility of putting the set away.

Ideal for nursery and preschool
The media could not be loaded. It comes with an empty cup in the middle of a big tub so it looks like you’re getting more than you are. But they are useful tools great for preschool activities and fine motor skills. Some parts feel sturdy, but some I’m not sure how they would hold up in large groups of children. That said it’s a very good versatile set of open ended resources.

Excellent for so many activities
I think this product is absolutely ideal whether you’re in a classroom or at home, you receive a large reusable tub containing large, easy to use pipettes, scooping scissors and tweezers. They feel durable, some of them slightly not finished off on the seams of the pipettes however but still very much useable. As an adult I love them, they are great fun to play with! They are actually meant for kids though. Some of the things you could do with these items can include: picking up beads with the tweezers and putting them in a container, scooping up kinetic sand/instant mash potato with the scissors as part of a messy play activity, and using the pipettes to mix colours (different containers of water mixed with a food dye) - basically you can do a lot with these and it’s well worth a look. The kids love them, and it gets the gross and fine motor skills going which is always a good thing. Love that big container it comes in too!

Great fun, quite expensive
This fine motor tools set is amazing for the little ones , they can have plenty of fun using them.Made from high quality plastic ,comes in a special plastic jar for storing them , inside the jar there is a plastic foil which makes the jar loom full but is not full when you take it out. This set is helping the little ones to improve their fine motor skills ,there are 6 jumbo tweezers to help the little ones pick small items ,6 twisty droppers are making their muscles stronger, 6 handy scoopers we had lots of fun with these, are suitable for grabing lots of small things , and 6 squeezy tweezers which builds eye hand coordination.Overall this is a great set to play with , I consider the set is quite expensive.

Wow! My son loves these!
As a primary school teacher who now tutors children I bought these with the aim of helping my early years/SEN pupils to build up hand strength and develop pencil control skills. Before getting the chance to trial them with my pupils my two year old saw the bright colours on the table and wanted a turn! He is absolutely obsessed! His ‘pickers’ go in the bath, pick up his toys, he likes switching tools…. To be honest I lost my teaching resource! I have now used a full set with one of my pupils too and he loved them too. I would as a teacher rate them really really highly as a product to develop fine motor! The children would rate them 5* too! A great product!

Great for fine motor development
I have really enjoyed using this as extra ways of developing fine motor skills. I teach reception and these are great for developing for fine motor skills - and particularly for those still finding cutting hard- as it helps them with that squeezing between thumb and fore finger. A great pack for nursery, child minders or early years teachers- highly recommend.

Very good resources for little children!
My wife works as a nursery teacher in a preschool, she said that this are perfect for her age group children because are big enough for little hands to develop their fine motor skills. All the tools arrived in a big jar with a lid on that also has a handle on top for easy carrying. The tools are very colorful perfect to caught the attention of the children, also sturdy and well made . The only downside is the price , a bit expensive!
