This arrives already flat and not rolled up. I believe this is because of how thick it is. It would be pretty difficult to roll this up. You open the box, lay it down and it's ready to go. I love the durability and thickness. Definitely worth the price.

My apartment came with low pile carpet and moving my desk chair around on it required the strength of Samson.Enter the Gorilla Mat. It didn't come wrapped but who cares? It arrived flat. The delivery guy carried it up to my apartment door. Heavier and sturdier than I thought It would be, I could tell just carrying it from the door to my desk that the whatever-they-are that hold the mat in place were so long and sturdy that this mat, once down, was going nowhere. (and such proved to be the case!)And the glide! Oh my God! Day and night. I can't believe how easy it is to move my chair to, fro and side to side. I've been sliding around for over 15 minutes now . . . I just can't believe how easy it is to move around!if you've been struggling to move your desk chair back and forth on your low pile carpet, struggle NO MORE! THIS is your mat!

The first order came in a beat-up box that was open on one end. When I slid it out, it was broken. I sent it back and reordered. The second one was fine. Pleased with the quality.

The mats were not rolled and arrived in perfect condition. I needed to replace cracked ones, and these mats are very sturdy. Better quality than previous ones. Glad I spent a bit more for these perfect mats. I use for sewing machine projects. My chair rolls easily on the mats. Couldn’t be happier with purchase.

This office chair mat has it all: excellent quality, doesn't create "pockets" that your chair wheels get stuck in, very durable, ready to use the moment it arrives -- it arrives flat and no odor or need to do anything; just lay it on the carpet. It arrived quickly and, as others have commented, in a flat box. This is not a flimsy product in any way; very well made and does an excellent job!

I am very happy with this floor mat after several weeks of usage. The mat is used with a rolling desk chair on a laminate floor. I bought this product specifically because it is made of PET plastic vs. the PVC of some other products (PVC seemed to be an issue based on reviews and my own research). I also bought it because it ships flat.The mat stays put on the floor when the chair is on it - I haven't had any noticeable movement after several weeks of usage. (The mat does slide around easily if there's no weight on it.) The chair moves around well on the mat. The mat is a great size for a standard desk chair - enough room to roll forward, back and to the side with normal movement. The thickness of the mat is also great.I recommend this mat for laminate floors. So far I'm in the "you get what you pay for" camp with the mat. I'm counting on it being durable enough to justify the cost as it's more expensive than some other mats. I won't know that until more time passes.
