Love this machine, for the first few times it did taste a little odd but just kept running it for a while. The ice doesn’t stay Icy in the compartment and does melt but I tend to make a load and bag it up For the freezer.If I’m having a party I have the bag in the freezer and the machine running. It only takes approx 5-8min for a new batch to be made.Really easy to use.I reccomend emptying and cleaning after each use, and pull the plug out underneath to clean.Really happy I purchased.

I brought this ice machine last October and 3 weeks ago it started giving me trouble. Instead of giving me 8 oce cubes it gave me 1 block of ice that wouldn't come out of the machine because its to big for the mechanical system to handle so now we have an ice machine that is usless. Now you would think that Amazon would sort out a return and either a replacement or refund. We was told. In the person on the phones words not our problem you have to speak to the company that sold it to us ?. I actually thought I was as the payment went to Amazon right WRONG ITS A SECOND COMPANY THAT SELLS THROUGH AMAZON AND WE CANT GET HOLD OF YHEM SO BASICALLY. WE HAVE BEEN STONE WALLED BY THE SMALL COMPANY THAT SELLS THEM THROUGH AMAZON. ALSO WITH AMAZON WE HAVE BEEN CHUCKED UNDER THE BUS. THEY HAPPILEY TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT WHEN YOU HAVE AN ISSUE NOT ONE OF THE COMPANIES WANT TO KNOW . AMAZON ( NOT OUR PROBLEM) AND THE OTHER COMPANY ( IS STONE WALLING US ). As far as I'm concerned Amazon sold it to me as they took the payment. Just because their supplier doesn't want to know they tell you its not their problem. If I brought a car stereo from a shop and it didn't work I shouldn't be chasing Sony for a refund its the shops problem they sold it to me and Amazon are doing just the same so please watch out with what you buy from (Amazon) make sure they are responsible for any defects you end up with. Thanks for nothing Amazon and your supplier

I bought this as a gift for Christmas and my sister loved it. It makes ice really quickly, the removable basket makes It easy to tip ice out into a container to go in the freezer and the scoop was a handy extra too. It doesn't make a lot of noise when it's working, very quiet even if you're in the same room as it, you can't hear it at all from a different room.Very handy to have for someone who uses a lot of ice, especially if they buy bags rather than make it. This would also be good to have at parties because of how quickly it makes the ice.

I won’t lie, I have a genuine ice addiction. It’s really bad. Whenever I go to restaurants, I literally get ice in my glass then order a second glass of ice.I figured an ice maker was in order, because I was getting so tired of going through punnet after punnet every day.This ice maker works exactly as expected. It makes around eight ice cubes every 10-15 minutes.This is brilliant for a normal person but a little sad for me as a proper ice addict. 😆 For a normal person, this is probably perfect. But I do wish it made a little more and didn’t take so long.Having said that, it would be perfect to leave running for the day to just make batches to freeze for later.I will say that the ice is very very small and melts incredibly fast. Again, that’s probably fine for a normal person but it’s annoying as an ice addict.Basically, I gave it four stars because it’s probably brilliant for a normal person. But for me, it does lose a star in that it takes a while to make and the ice cubes are super small.So happy it works though! 😍

This was our second attempt at purchasing an ice machine. We recently had one on holiday and it was so great to have ice on tap we decided to buy one. We ordered the one we had which wad a different brand but there was weird taste to the ice which didn't go even after cleaning it running ut through.Following the instructions to clean before use removed any taste. With this machine. It's quick to get the first batch out. It's quiet compared to the other machine. It's compact and after using it fir a couple of months we are very happy.

My freezer stopped making ice & we were buying bags of ice cubes which just kept going up in price. Brought this & its brilliant. Doesn't take long to make ice, once the basket is full we empty it into the ice box in the freezer & we can then use the dispenser on the freezer door. Is a little bit noisy but we only use it when we want to fill up the ice box which only takes a couple of hours.
