Seems to work OK, but has issuses with a powered USB hub. There does not appear to beenough power. This is most likely an issue with the hub as devices plugged indirectly to the card work ok.

Purchased 2 x SilverStone SST-EC04-E for placing in a hp ...
Purchased 2 x SilverStone SST-EC04-E for placing in a hp pavillion i5 (6th gen) and dell vostro 430 i7 (1st gen), both work as intended, giving speeds approx 50-80mb/s in windows 10. Card has the Renesas chip set on-board. Neither pc required any additional drivers.Compared to a cheaper pciex1 usb3 card I had purchased few months prior, this card is more stable and sustains data rate.

Just the job!
Ordered this on 26 December and it arrived on 29th. What service! Plugged it into my motherboard (MSI MS-7338, several years old), switched on and it worked without connecting the power lead. Like someone else, I needed to connect a multi-card reader with USB 3 connections. This is for backup purposes with an attached USB hard disk, and USB 3 is a lot faster than USB 2. That worked fine and I now have a backup. I think I'll leave the power connector off for now.

SilverStone does it again. Every product delivers more than it advertises.Install and go. Easy as that.Recommend for old computers that you want usb 3.0, specially if you are refurbishing old motherboards/cpus using new cases (like I did).

Utilizados en un caja UNYAch Numen 500 Pro y va perfecto.
En mi caso la caja incluia conectores USB-C pero la placa base/placa madre/motherboard Biostar no lo aceptaba y con este adaptador lo solucione.

Achat pour alimenter deux des quatre prises sur panneau avant du boîtier, avec une CM qui ne dispose que d'une prise USB 3.2 en façade. Installation simple, alimentation par PCIE et une prise SATA. Permet la recharge des périphériques USB.Vérification de vitesse écriture - lecture avec CrystalMark et un clé USB3 - aucune difference entre les prises alimentés directement sur la carte mère et sur la carte SilverStone SST-EC04. Sur les deux prises externes de cette carte j'ai branché deux imprimantes en USB - aucun problème de connexion, pas de coupures.

Ottima scheda ad altissime prestazioni, nel mio caso con Windows 10 64 bit non ho avuto bisogno di installare nessun driver particolare, ha fatto tutto il sistema operativo in automatico, è veramente una 3.0.

Tut, was es soll. Verarbeitung sieht (für Profis) nicht soooo sonderlich gut aus. Aber bisher keine Schwierigkeiten.Besonders der Preis ist hier ok. Sobald ich Probleme mit dem Artikel bekomme, ergänze bzw. ändere ich diese Bewertung. Bisher gibt es aber nichts schlechtes zu sagen. Was die Sternbewertung "Gut zum Trainieren" hier soll, weiss ich nicht!!! Daher nur 1 Stern hier.
