I’ve had this rug for about a week and I haven’t noticed any shedding. The rug came package rolled up. Upon opening there was a mild smell but I laid the rug out and let it air out for a few days using an air purifier and most of the smell is gone. It’s soft underfoot, thick, and since I have my desk on top, it stays in place. I love the color and design, a muted blue and cream. I have the 9 x 6.Buying rugs online is a challenge due to not being able to see and feel the product, plus the challenge of returning if it doesn’t meet expectations. I did purchase and return a couple other rugs before keeping this one, so I hope this review helps others decide so as to have to avoid the hassle of returning a large rug. I also will say Amazon is a convenient place to buy due to pricing, delivery speed, and return policy. Go forth and buy this rug.

I absolutely love this rug. I love the colors and the pattern. It's soft and warm under foot and looks beautiful on my new hardwood floors. Perfect choice at a great price. It hasn't shed much, seems durable too after only 2 weeks.

It’s thick, soft, great color and size for it’s value

This is a high quality rug for a great price. The brown parts do have somewhat yellowish/mustard-y undertones which I don't love so minus one star for that. Not much grey in it - was hoping for more so it would coordinate better with the grey tones in my room. Overall it does read as a light-colored rug so it does brighten up the room. The pattern is really pretty and classic. It came rolled up and unrolled and flattened easily. The weave is a tight loop weave and 100% wool. However, I noticed no particular off gassing and first vacuum hardly even shed at all! It's a nice weighty thickness, stays well over our flat wall-to-wall carpet. Overall am sufficiently pleased. Which is good since it is so big and heavy that it would be impossible to return.

Beautiful rug for the money. Perfect color with my décor, and excellent quality.I will state it sheds in the beginning, and I had to go over it with a vacuum several times, but it's a high quality item. You will love it.
