Needed something to hold down the vacuum sealed bag and these magnets do the job.

I use them for brewing. Holds the dry hop bag under the surface well.

These could probably be a bit stronger, but I've found they're good on either side of the sous vide bag to use as a weight or a magnet. They work well in the Instant Pot with sous vide to weigh the bag down, though they may stick to the bottom of the pot, and you have to then fish them out. Counterintuitively, it would be nice if they were a bit stronger and/or heavier, but they are working for me with the Stasher bags as described.

These work very well in keeping the food below the water.

I can now confidently immerse the vacuum bag in the water, securing it with these magnets, and the bag stays in place. No rust, no worries, being in close proximity to food.

The magnets are what the listing says, but they're so weak that when you use a pair, one inside the water batch and one outside - they're so weak that they don't really do much of a job securing anything.Wish I hadn't figured this out 3 days after the return window closed. Given how they react to feedback (offering a refund even though I'd missed my return window) I'd definitely consider them for a future purchase even though this one didn't work out for me.

I can put these inside a bag if I want to use them as a weight, but I rarely need to. I can clip two together, on inside the container and one outside, with the bag against the container wall and between them, and get the same result. That means that I can move them if need be.

I've used a lot of odd items to try to keep meat at the bottom of my sousvide, from rocks to odd kitchen items to a handful of chip chips (praying they didn't melt) and this was just easy - almost took the fun out of it but now I get to focus on making side dishes instead of worrying my meat will dislodge and bob to the top of the pot.
