Bought this to replace a hama tripod which was a budget buy when I started out and whose legs let me down a few times causing my tokina 11-16mm lense motor to crash to the floor, the planer was also stiff.I researched many pods and it is very confusing as to which to get, pay more or pay reasonable, the reviews on amazon were varied even for the costlier ones. I ended up with 6 different shortlisted pods in the basket for final deciding.Then I came across this polarduck and it ticked all the boxes and was priced very reasonably resulting in all the others being deletes and this one was purchased.Ordered on Wednesday, arranged free delivery for Saturday.Opened up, tested, tried every knob, mounting plate and so far it is smooth and good. Even comes with Allen keys and easy to read user manual which you can keep in the carry bag. Additional item provided is a phone holder. It folds neatly and smoothly into a compact size and goes into the carry bag without needing any effort.Haven't used outdoors as yet but will be doing so but so far am pleased with my decision to buy this pod which is cheaper than many inferior ones but a better build quality and smooth knobs and functions. I have seen professional photographers boasting about their £1k+ pods showing off as to how thick their pan knobs and legs are but this Polarduck does the same job and looks equally as premium.Well done China and Polarduck, I don't know how you do it but I think our western governments have got us fooled with this inflation veil whereas in fact life does not have to be this expensive in the west.

Not used it very much yet, but so far its been very good, and stable.

This tripod is the best I’ve ever had great for multi tasking it’s not the lightest but brilliant for my binoculars i will highly recommend this to anyone thanks

Excellent quality for the money, in fact much better quality than lots i looked at for a lot more money. Easy to use once i figured out how to attach the camera to the base clip!
