April 2024:I bought the moon and star version of this Futon in August of 2022. My husband and I had two kids at the time and I was pregnant with my third. We had never owned a futon mattress before but every room in our house was occupied and my husband developed a nasty snore. I needed something that I could roll out on the living room floor to sleep at night and then roll back up out of the way.It is surprisingly comfortable for being much thinner than the kind of mattresses that I am used to. To be fair, I like extremely firm mattresses. Having a pad on a carpeted floor is exactly what my back needs. I sleep better on this pad than my actual bed. The rest of my family also heavily uses this pad. Sometimes I can sleep in my own bed if my husband is only quietly snoring. When that happens I still have to put out the futon at night because I will wake up to one or two children on it. My two year old needed to stop sleeping in his crib earlier than his siblings did and he often seems to prefer this mattress for sleeping at night. Sometimes even my husband sleeps on this thing and, while he does prefer our mattress, he seems to sleep well on it.It is pretty beaten up by now but keep in mind this thing has been HEAVILY used by 5 people, frequently left out during the day and played/jumped on. My husband has extremely sharp toenails and the material is wearing thin down at the bottom where his feet tend to rest. I have managed to patch that area up without much fuss.This thing has been bled on, peed on, puked on, etc. and it cleans up really well. We don't put it in a washing machine or anything like that. We do spot clean it and often hang it up to air out. There isn't anything that I haven't been able to get completely out of this pad. I don't know about any of the other color options but stains just don't seem to stick to the moon and star fabric. Also, it does not hold onto smells. I think it might have something to do with the fact that this can easily be hung over a railing for a few hours here and there.Two years later after taking a huge beating by a family of 5, this thing is still comfortable. It's maybe a little thinner than when we first bought it but any mattress would be after what we have put this poor thing through. Whenever we manage to destroy it, because that's going to happen with the kind of use it gets, I will 100% replace it with another of the exact same brand and pattern.

It is a good futon, firm and comfortable. It comes with a decorative cover to protect it from stains and easy to wash. It is also easy to store and fold up when not in use. Also comes with a storage bag and straps to hold the futon together when storing. Highly recommended.

We'd been using air mattresses to sleep in our son's room while he was sick, but our cat kept destroying them. This was our solution!Mattress is thinner than pictured, but surprisingly comfortable. It folds up easily when not in use, and can be tucked into a closet with minimal effort. The only issue we had was the zipper on the cover failing on the first use. Other than that, this was perfect!We do use a waterproof mattress protector and standard twin size sheets with it, simply because our kiddos are young and our cats are old, but it holds up well to heavy use.

So not as thick as I thought from the pic but honestly super comfortable! I really enjoy this, perfect firmness in my opinion and so easy to move. Very happy with this product.

It’s a decent size, but not as thick as I hoped. I bought it for when I have guests over, and my friend had said that it was okay, but it was really thin, and she may as well have had slept directly on the floor for how thin it was. It’s comfy to me, but I can see where sleeping on it for long periods of time would be uncomfortable.

Don't buy this !!!!!!! If you are just wanting a pillow topper sure maybe. This feels like ur laying on the ground. It said that it was 4in thick it's more like 1 to 2in and squishes to the floor. Very unhappy

I was excited to get my bed, King Sized star version, until I realized that they sent both the wrong size AND color. Twin size in Bohemian. It's not even a color and size option available on this seller page.I got on the phone with customer service and explained, and they suggested I go to the UPS store to return the item, but for someone in my living situation, it's an extra expense. And I didn't want to make that expense on account of their mistake, having already shelled out $200 for the mattress I did want.Instead, they agreed to send a replacement and to keep the one mistakenly shipped at no charge. :) That was satisfactory. I'm hoping it sends correctly that time, but God willing, will update nonetheless about that one.Despite the reviews, I was surprised at how thick it actually appeared, even before airing it out (which I've just begun to do.) Some other photos showed a very 'deflated-looking' mattress so I was concerned, but this wasn't that at all.The photos you see are its thickness right out of the packaging! It's folded in half for space while it airs out..as I have limited room and don't want it ruined by pets...yet..but it's very plush looking.And for a twin, I'll comment on that one since it's what I have, it looks 'large' for a twin, which was also pleasantly surprising. I've yet to try it out, but looking forward to it, as I've had recent back pain and don't mind being a floor sleeper. The print is also beautiful.God bless, thank you. Jesus loves us. But I didn't try it out until the king size I ordered came in the mail.I got my original order, the king size, in a timely manner. It's a huge beast!I gave it about a day or day and a half to puff up in indirect sunlight.The ruler shows its (out of the box) measurement. After fluffing, it was around 2.5 to 3 inches (depending on the area measured) so a bit uneven but no complaints.I didn't have room to try it on the floor, but it is topping my Queen memory foam mattress (the king can fold to fit, praise Jesus) and I've slept well on it. My pets love it. And my former hip and back pain is gone.I also put my twin on top of 'that' (weird but personal preference) and all the more comfortable.Even when it (the pain) tried to come on, the futon died it down not long after. Praise the Lord.10/10 very happy with my purchase.
