Vango Outdoor Carpet available in Grey - Size 100 x 140 cm

Got this because 'proper' tent carpets are much lighter and pack away much easier than the old rugs I've been using. My tent doesn't have a 'bespoke' carpet by the manufacturer either!On reflection, I should have looked for a bigger one, however, I was off on a camping trip the day after it arrived - so that's on a back burner for the time being.It had been raining steadily for a week before we turned up - making the camp-site very muddy which was traipsed into the tent and onto my brand-new carpet!The weather picked-up, and the mud had mostly dried by the time we packed up to come home. At home, I unpacked the carpet, hung it over the line for a while to dry off a bit more and was surprised that most of the mud just brushed off. I put it in the washing machine and despite my unfounded slight worry that the carpet fabric may shrink, it was fine and dried quite quickly and once dry, folded up easily back into the bag!Would I buy again?? The quality is fine, but I would need to look carefully at price-vs-size because I think I'd need a bigger one and I'm not so sure that the price is competitive enough!

great for price - small 'carpet' for putting in entrance for tent or as extra layer under roll mat/bed. Folds small and has own carry case. They are very similar to the picnic rugs you can get. they are lightweight - don't expect a thick heavy product that will insulate well.

This is excellent for adding extra comfort and warmth when out camping.

good value carpet to put in your tent. Better than putting your bare feet on a cold plastic tent liner

I have complained to vango regarding this carpet being extremely slippery in situ, their reply was put pegs in!!!This would make holes in the attached ground sheet !!Even pegs in corners would make holes !!However great suggestion so maybe vango can take their own advice and make peg holes in carpet corners to peg down
