Loved it but now I have a different phone that doesn't wireless charge. But I'm holding on to it

Bought this for a 3D printed phone charger project. My wife saw it had to buy another one for her then a friend saw hers wanted one so I ordered a third one. Make sure you have the proper charging block to go with it and works perfectly even through a thick case.

Unfortunately, this unit does not work for me. The USB-C type plug-ends meant that I was unable to plug the unit into a phone charger (as I do not have a charger that accommodates the C-type plug-in, just the standard, larger, normal-sized USB plug). Instead, I resorted to plugging the wireless charger into my computer (in its C-type USB port). The wireless charger pad was obviously getting power as its lights were operating. Placing my phone on the charger pad, without the phone case and perfectly centered on the pad, got me nothing. While the pad’s lights clearly indicated the unit recognized the phone on the pad, it did not charge the phone, nor did the phone register any indicators of receiving a charge. I have an Android 11 phone, model U696CL. I’m disappointed. On a positive note, the seller picked and shipped the unit quickly—it arrived BEFORE the start of the expected delivery window’s start.

I paid $9.99 for this item. After a week or so, I can confidently say that it is indeed worth that price. The device I'm using is a Pixel Fold. The pad charges my device but it is pretty slow. Most of that is the Pixel's fault as it only has 7.5w charging. The LED ring is a nice touch. It is green when the device needs to be repositioned and when it begins charging, it turns green. LEDs turn off several seconds after removing the device. The device is fairly thin. I attached a photo of it compared to one of my coasters. It is roughly the same thickness.All in, I would definitely recommend this charger at the $10 price point. If any durability issues arise, I will update my review.

It at least does the job, not fast by any means. It could be my cord but I had to use my own cord because what they give you is a USB C to USB C cord, not quite usable on everything.My. Biggest gripe about this product though is the light. I'll set my phone down on it in a set and forget fashion (as intended), but the charging light turns on for only a few seconds and then the light shuts off again. This has led several times to find it didn't charge because there's zero indication to know when it's stopped charging. You'd think that while it was charging, the charging light would stay on indefinitely.

it is not clear from most reviews if any of the various wireless pads are compatible with PD chargers; instead, most of them just mention QC 2/3. But PD is the new 'universal' standard and I try not to buy anything but that, now.Having purchased one of these pads and tested it, I can confirm that it works with a USB-C PD charger to provide fast wireless charging for my Samsung Galaxy S21.

I didn’t realize it didn’t come with a power brick, but I was able to use one I already had on hand. Seems to work well for my phone. Does not seem to work with my iPad but maybe it’s not designed to.
