This is the best case for Pi I've seen. Plastic ones are OK, but this one is for that time you don't want to hide it but leave it in plain sight.The case is CNC machined aluminium, not cast. All surfaces are smooth and anodized. The grill comes in handy for the interior fans (1 or 2).I think aluminium will help cooling as it will act a a giant sink to dissipate the heat (overclocking may be a different story tho).

One of the best raspberry pi case's i now own. Solid feeland very industrial looking.All the ports line up well. The SD card is not easily removable if using a raspberry pi 3 as it does not extrude past the end, however using a pi with the push in, push out SD card reader should be easy.This case fits my pi and cooling solution perfectly and really suits the part of the always-on media server I will be using it as. I added some little felt feet to this just to stop it scratching up anything I stick it on.

Looks good built up, but the design is not well manufactured. The end plates are too big for the top and bottoms sections and needed filing down to get the unit to fit back together without being forced.The metal end pieces are made with very soft aluminium so much so one screw pulled most of its thread out when the unit was originally taken apart.Better manufacturing tolerances would make this a great case, sadly I can’t recommend.

Does the job very well, added bonus is the light from the LEDS shine through the grill so you can see the activity buzzing away. I put some stick on rubber feet to stop it sliding about and hooked it up to my router. Looks clean and does the job

I'm using this to run pi-hole, adblocker, with a poe top hat. I mounted it to a 3u rack alongside a monitor and it works perfectly

Nice design, but fiddly to install the pi but the best case I've used to date.
