This is a nice swing. I picked this swing because the prior owner of my house had hooks hung 55 inches apart and I wanted a swing that would fit nicely. In the picture you will note that the drink holders are folded down to avoid them from hitting the hand railing / house. They easily fold up or down by hand. Note that the depth of the drink holders is not very significant, but as long as you don't go crazy they should be sufficient.Overall, the assembly was relatively easy, but I highly recommend having a second person hold and balance the back while the other person uses the included Allen wrench to screw the bottom to the back. There are only 3 bolts that hold the bottom to the back. The bolts go through pre-fabricated holes in the back into preinstalled rivets in the seat bottom. I was not able to get these to go in straight the first time and this ruined one of the rivets. My advice on these is if they don't screw in easily be patient and readjust the angle of entry with that second set of hands.The bolts on the two sides help firm it up and hold it together as they have pre-drilled holes in the metal (vs. the more fragile rivets).Important to note that the rivets caused me an issue the first time and the seller made it right by shipping me replacement parts.Assembly can be completed in under and hour (including hanging) with most steps able to be completed by one person.Finally, as you will note in the description, you will need to purchase additional chain if you plan to hang it from the ceiling. Make sure to get chain that can support the same weight as the swing (800lb) as your swing will only support the maximum weight of the weakest of the components (Hooks, chains, swing).Overall, the look of this swing is nice and it has been tested with over 500lbs so far with no issues.

Product looks aesthetically nice, but won't last past 1 summer. Cup holders are cheap plastic, and it's held together by 6 small Allen bolts. Additionally you pay for shipping to your place, and if you want to return, you pay for shipping back, so the seller makes money both ways, I do not recommend.

The first swing received had been cut & weaving was coming loose. Contacted customer service & they shipped us a replacement & it was in perfect condition. They were very nice & did not require the 1st swing to be returned since we included pictures on our first contact with them. The 2nd arrived in perfect condition & only took about a week to get here. I am extremely pleased with our new porch swing!!

Like 2 of the other 3 reviews, we got through the first 2 steps of assembly, and then in step 3, the holes drilled in the rigid metal support structure did NOT line up. Couldn't be assembled. Had to take it apart and rebox it.And to add insult to injury, the return label seems to indicate that return shipping will be OUR COST, not the manufacturer or provider. Well......they're going to regret trying to do that, because if I end up paying for return shipping on a defective product, then I'll be seeking ALL kinds of remedies.Class Action? Maybe. Tell the truth about this company and their lack of ethics? You bet! Complain heavily to Amazon, asking them to intervene? Yup! That's next.Or, maybe....just maybe....they can read this review, contact me, and send me a prepaid shipping document.EDIT: June 12, 2023. And I just took it to UPS to attempt to return it. The cheapest option? $178.82. I will be contacting Homrest directly, and Amazon. If they sell a defective product, which this IS, then they need to fix that without costing their customer this much money.

Swing is good quality. The chains to hang the swing were very short and small links that would not support anyone sitting on the swing. Replacements were purchased by professional installer. Standard height front porch roof.

Awful product!! Awful customer service! Was broken right away. Cheap a** material, super flimsy. Definitely would not hold up to 800 lbs like it says. We wrapped it up and packed nicely just to then have to pay to send it back. What the heck?!?! So now we are stuck with a broken swing.
