This is so easy to set up and use. Simply pull out the battery tab and it's ready to stick onto the door and frame. It's the door opening alarm is loud without being too loud. The actual alarm is ear piercing and would definitely deter a burglar from coming in as there is no way they could remain undetected.

The packaging of the alarm immediately created a good impression (‘Certified frustration free’). The alarm is compactly stored in an easy to open cardboard box, without loads of unnecessary plastic wrapping. or foam. Inside you get the alarm, magnet, double sided adhesive tape, and a small instruction leaflet. Instructions are provided in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian. It is very easy to set up the device on a window or door using the instructions. Note that there is a plastic battery tab that needs to be removed before you can use the alarm. The alarm has a switch on the bottom that allows you to switch between alarm, chime and off. It is a solid device and appears well made. The alarm is suitably loud, and the chime option can be useful if you just want to know if people (e.g. children) are going in and out . I don’t yet know how long the battery lasts. The instructions suggest that you check the battery just by setting it off – putting a clothe over it to reduce the volume during the test. This is probably the most reliable way of testing the battery, but it would be nice if there was a quieter way of doing this.

These TECKNET (3 pack of) Alarm Sensors are alright & in certain situations would certainly deter or slow down a filthy thief I guess it depends on how qualified a thief they are?If they've got a couple of screwdrivers, pliers or a small crowbar they're not new to theft so they'll know to just rip one of these off or to simply turn it off as it's not loud enough to wake the neighbours really & that's say on a row of council owned terraced houses & the thief would've known that the house, flat whatever was empty as they're extremely good at being extremely bad these scumbags. (plus I don't believe that these are 100db loud anyway ?!?!).I got one for the gentle ring of the backdoor being opened & closed, they're very easy to set up, you just pull out the battery tab find a position for them to go & apply the adhesive strip on to the alarm & apply to your chosen area for the alarm whilst applying firm & even pressure for a few minutes (say 5) so it'll hold well (the same with the smaller part of the alarm).Now I had two spare so I put one on a door upstairs & then decided to put the third from the pack very closely next to the second one making it ~Stereo~ with the two going off together from two different sources, it's louder it'd take just that little longer to disarm them & it weren't a waste of an alarm!Try it, place two close together like in the photo that I've provided or on separate sides of the door, window that you're securing, you'll hear that it's louder & would be more shocking to a burglar if there were alarms sounding from different sources/areas in sync again making them louder & taking longer to disarm that's if the thief/thieves haven't scarped already as it will be confusing & when you're confused with fear you're natural response is to remove yourself from the situation (especially if you bring the long arm of the law into the mix!).

I bought these to put a little additional security on the downstairs windows of my house. These were pretty easy to set up as you just pull out the battery tabs that stop them draining power until they are used, and then stick them on the windows.Make sure you maintain the minimum distance between the contacts so that they aren't triggered even when the window is closed, else that kind of defeats the point, right? :)There are 3 settings easily chosen with a button on the device. You can have a gentle audio sound to make you aware you have opened a window - just in case you weren't sure what you're hands were currently doing, right?Then you have the normal alarm setting, which will emit a high shrill alarm guaranteed to scare the living daylights out of the cat (and probably burglar) with the second setting.Finally, you have the third option to set the alarm to off completely. Hopefully anyone opening your window to come in without your approval doesn't realise that there is a button on the device right in front of them that can turn it off, eh? To be fair, though, the alarm would have already gone off by the time they have access to actually tap the button, even if they did work out that you could do this, so it's probably just me over-thinking on this one.It's a nice price for getting six of these, with batteries included, and they do exactly what you bought them to do, so no complaints here.

Bought this product for an external staircase door, the ring can be adjusted to very loud , easy to install works extremely well, also was delivered before the date given would recommend.

Je l'utilise pour sécurité des chambres et salon et c'est top car si un mouvement suspect ça sonne.Les enfants ne peuvent pas l'atteindre car trop haut pour eux.Facile a installer et je recommande

Montage einfach aber leider nicht lange haltbar.Aber wie kann man die Tür öffnen beim verlassen oder Rückkunft ohne das der Alarm erklingt? Sollte ja nur ertönnen wenn ein Einbrecher die Tür öffnet!?
