I love the strong magnetic features, the belt holder and the case. I have average size hands and have had no issues with the small size. This has everything you need in a range finder and then some.I’ve driven with it connected to the cart and I’ve walked with it on my belt. It’s never fallen off. This is a huge feature when the courses are cart path only and you don’t want to carry more than you have to.

Th TecTecTec KLYR Golf Rangefinder is a great buy. It is easy to use and the slope adjustment can be easily turned off (and verified off) for tournament use. The built in magnet with metal belt clip makes it very easy to attach to a belt when the course is "cart path only" so having it on your cart post doesn't help.

This rangefinder is light, compact, easy to use and gives the player what they need. Slope adjustment, lock on pin feature, yards/meters, good battery life, magnetic clips, markers and case. The ergonomic size and weight make it easy to carry anywhere (i use it at tournaments following pros). The customer service is superb. Highly recommended.

CHANGING MY REVIEW BASED ON DIRECT SUPPORT FROM TECTECTEC!As I still stand by my remarks regarding the outer shell and my concerns of durability. However, TecTecTec immediately reached out to me to address my concerns then requested that I return this product if I'm not fully satisfied. If there was a company rating, I would have no reservations in rating them with 5 stars!Due to the professional manner that TecTecTec Customer Support, Billy, I will be raising my rating to 4 stars. I did return this product but opted to upgrade my range finder with TecTecTec ULT-S Pro. I have zero concerns in purchasing or recommending products from TecTecTec!Thank you TecTecTec for listening to your customers and being proactive in addressing remedies to keeping us loyal consumers.What I previously wrote (revised):I had a previous TecTecTec rangefinder that was very well built and operated flawlessly. But I misplaced and needed to order a new rangefinder. Inside the rangefinder is excellent but the plastics, including the focus ring mechanism, are its weakest features.The unit is extremely light weight and small. There is no protection of the plastic casing should you accidentally drop this. The magnetic feature is nice and fairly strong but can be knocked off the magnetic mount with enough accidental force.Clearly TecTecTec is reasonably priced product compared to others. I do not recommend the KLYR unit despite its excellent rangefinder optics unless low cost is important to you.

The whole process when you receive this purchase is an absolute pleasure. As other reviews have written, the packaging presentation is excellent and fun! Inside the box is the cool stuff . The Rangefinder itself, and all the trimmings. I particularly like the belt clip. I won't use it often, in fact, I'll only use it if it's cart path only. Sometimes its hard to know the exact yardage from the cart path now you can take it with you and attach it to your hip instead of chucking it on the floor and potentially forgetting it.I bought this as I wanted quality optics. The view finder in very bright and easy to use. The owners of TTT are optics engineers! I'm middle aged and ,yes, the eyesight in starting to misbehave . Brightness was a key factor for me. Accuracy is also paramount and the KLYR doesn't disappoint. I have not felt like I got a bad read in any of my rounds. In fact the use of the slope function has helped improve my game by maybe a stroke or two per round.Not much difference between the KLYR and the top end models. The only thing this model doesn't have is Stabilization but most don't need that and I didn't see any issues with shaky hands. The thing is quick and dare I say it, FUN to use. It has a great price point and I don't see the point in spending more unless you really need stabilization. The other reviews are on point, my model is more than I expected and is FANTASTIC VALUE!

Compact size. Fast delivery. Easy to use. Good magnet. If only the RF has a built-in belt attachment.

Easy to use

I've used it for about 8 rounds. The feedback on pin lock is great. Small enough to fit in your pocket. Solid feel compared to cheaper models. Had a small issue that customer service made right immediately.

This is an excellent rangefinder that feels more like a top range finder and comes at a mid level price. It works well, locking on to golf flags easily and providing accurate distances. It's certainly accurate enough for an amateur golfer who wants to improve club selection. It can lock on to other things too such as bunkers and trees. This is good because you can judge if something is clearable rather than just reachable. The image is clear and you'll have no trouble reading distances.It's pocket sized and robust and can withstand the rigours of the course. The battery is excellent and last a long time. It has a magnet which makes it difficult to lose. The magnet is strong. Its also bright yellow and looks good. Overall an excellent rangefinder that is suitable for all skill levels.

Fast accurate reads. Easy targeting. Reasonable price. This rangefinder is excellent for the golf course, it is small, and it has a battery that appears to be more robust than other rangefinders. Distances have been pretty accurate.It is difficult to control and it takes a couple of weeks to work the bugs out of shaking it so that you are focused behind the flag. You have to stay level-headed and know approximately how far you are to determine if your reading is accurate. I think I'll spring for the image stabilizer on my next one.One attractive feature is the magnetic holder. It made so much easier to carry, handsfree.It can shoot places other than the flag, like sand traps, back of greens, front of greens, carries for washes etc. Overall it is a good piece of equipment, recommended!

The TecTecTec KLYR laser rangefinder is a real boon for any serious golfer ... plus it is very competitively priced. It comes in a choice of colours including a vibrant lemon yellow and a sleek contemporary black. It comes in a nice carrying pouch/case that you can attach to your bag.This rangefinder is lightweight and small in size ... it also packs a lot of features including target lock and slope.There is a magnet on this device which allows you to attach the rangefinder to a golfing cart and also a magnetic belt clip for clipping onto your belt.In use this rangefinder has proved to be fast and extremely accurate even from a long range.I suppose my only negative would be that it is not waterproof which could be a problem if you are playing golf in the rain.All in all a brilliant bit of kit that I have no problem in recommending.

I have been very impressed with this rangefinder. It comes with a solid, and stylish carrying case which is light grey. The range finder also comes with an easy to follow instruction manual, a microfibre cloth to wipe the lens and a small lithium battery and a magnetic belt clip. In all it has everything you need to get up and running with the product.Some people will not be happy that this uses a battery as opposed to USB charging, however I actually prefer this as a spare battery is always easy to carry around / store in the case if ever its needed and a charging point is not - especially if your deep in the woods!.The quality of this rangefinder is very decent, it is made of thick plastic in a black / grey colour that looks very good indeed. Some areas of the rangefinder are covered with a kind of silicone or rubber, with the only somewhat fragile part being the battery cover. In terms of size and practicality, the range finder is small, lightweight and is quite comfortable to use.In terms of performance the rangefinder works very well and the data is accurate. In be used for hunting, golf and other sports, and I have used it when mountain walking to observe the height of peaks, as well as distances of tracks / streams etc to aid with navigation. It does not have an image stabiliser, so you will need to good steady hand to get the most accurate readings, but for the price of the item this is not a major deal breaker. The finder measures the distance to the target in meters and yards and it also indicates the angle to the item as well. It also has a range of modes too which include: Normal mode, Scan mode, Pin seek, Slope, and Slope & Pinseek.Overall this is a superb item and I would certainly recommend it!
