Pertinent and grounded in purpose
The author clearly understands the anxieties young adults face when venturing out into the world under their own steam - paying rent, college debts, overspending on credit cards, etc. Which can all be daunting. There's an important chapter on goal setting, which is a valuable skill to form early in life, delving into the idea that having a clear purpose for saving makers it meaningful and provides motivation and encourages self discipline. It covers getting a job, not just to earn money, but to appreciate the value of it, learn life skills, etc. After covering off some other foundation topics it moves onto passive income, like rental, etc, and talks about adding these income streams, which is great advice to start early with. Then a bit on investing. All in all a good book that's worth reading, in particular because it's tone is grounded in the importance of having purpose, rather than a generic goal of wealth generation.
