These sharpeners are great too use for scissors and knives, they both work well and wouldn't use any other product to hone or sharpen knives and scissors. I'd fully recommend them if you aren't capable with a steel or stone or not sure how to use it. You'll be looking for things to sharpen around the house!

I've found the shear sharpener very handy. I've sharpened the blades of an old manual lawnmower easily and my shears are now brilliant. I bought this duo as I wanted the scissor sharpeners so this has all been a bonus :0)

If your after a quick and dirty sharpening this is for you.The sharpened edges on knives are really coarse, leaving a shape but quickly blunted edge.Okay if you don't really value your knives. But if you want fast, then they'll do the job. Just don't expect to shave hair off with the blades afterwards!
