Upload speeds greatly increase with this modem.
Bought mostly to test T-Mobile business internet with fixed IP. Replaced the enseego 3100 with a directionnal mimo antena. I was most interested by the uploads speeds since I use this to host my websites and my email server. The enseego wirhout external antenna was giving me 8~10 MBs, with antenna 15~29 MBs. Once I installed the Yeacomm, I started getting 50~55 MBs. For me the download is a little lower then the enseego with antenna passing from 170MBs to around 100MBs, but probably that is due to the smaller omnidirectional antenna of the modem compared to the directional I had attached to the enseego. Not a big deal 100MBs is more than enough and most important for me was the upload speed, which is better than the 35Mbs that comcast was offering at my location.Works perfectly in passthrough mode, and I get the external IP directly on my Pfsense.

Works
Confirmed works with TMBI, in bridge mode.We live less than 1/2 mile from tower. With the unit positioned outside on side of house towards tower, unit gets very good signal and speed tops between 600-800Mbps download. Customer support responds very quickly to emails for any technical questions or assistance.

Speed, signal, quality and ease of use of the NR610.
Just wanted to say I’m very pleased with the unit.It is of great value compared to other companies product's which you would more than likely have to add additional antennas to their systems in order to be able to gain similar signal quality of the NR610.Although the set up is straight forward you still have to adjust certain parameters within its user friendly interface especially the TTL to avoid compatibility issues. In order to give you a better understanding of my experience with the NR610 I have included a few additional comments which may also help those who are undecided.Yeacomm products are designed to perform at a higher level than the standard equipment provided by communication companies. Set up is as easy as transferring the provided unit I.D. numbers as well as electronic card to the Yeacomm NR610. Best part is there is no need to buy extra antennas and adaptors. The NR610 is a self contained unit with build in antennas and modem inside a water resistant housing along with a POE ethernet port for power that is provided from an included power injector. The unit can be placed at least 300 feet with a standard cat6 ethernet cable from the units power injector. The unit can be left indoors or for distant towers can be pole mounted on a roof or side of building facing cell towers.Yeacomm’s customer support has been great in answering questions and providing software updates. You can find additional information resources at Youtube channel if needed. Hope this review helps you.

AT&T Not Supported
Not supported by AT&T. Bought a sim card from AT&T and sim card got immediately suspended. AT&T tech support said this unit is not supported. I have not tried Tmobile yet.

Nice but not perfect
The horrible first. The wireless is extremely slow. Only around 20-30mbs. So when doing the initial alignment you can use your phone to get signal strengths but that doesn't mean your connecting to the fastest tower. So you need to hook up your own router and connect to that to then do speedtests, don't rely on the internal wireless.I ended up having a bad ethernet port. It would power on with poe but would never have a ethernet connection. So I was using the internal wireless and couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting expected speeds. It was passed the return windows but the tech support had me mail it to them and refunded me the shipping cost via PayPal.Tech Support is in China but using text and email no language barrier that could not be overcome. With their time being so far different I could work on this at night/evening and it's during their normal hours. I see that as a plus for me. If using this for business that would be a downfall. But with me having trouble, I got more experienced with the unit than if I had just set it up and started using it.I wish there would be an advanced tutorial that would show how easy it is to tower lock and frequency lock. Best feature is doing speedtest directly from the unit, so your not depending on other connections and what not. If you telent to the unit and type in speedtest, it will run a speedtest.net and give a url to check all results. Basic results are given, up and down. I have suggested that there be a link in the web gui instead of having to talent to the device. Easy on a laptop, cumbersome on a phone.I like the ability to have a reset of selected days and time. Bridge mode is nice to get the ip directly to my router instead of nat from the nr610 to my router. Doesn't help since it's on tmobile but if you got a business static it would be great.I wish that the dual sim would have the ability to switch imei with the second sim slot. Atleast it could hold a backup for the second slot. Changing the imei is easy along with the ttl.I would get sparatic results with my original acaydyn kvd21. Sometimes 5mbs other times 150 on the download. Rarely would I get anything above 5mbs on the up. And I had to have it setup just right. If it got moved then it would be going through 30 min of speedtests to get it back in that right spot. I'm a little bit away and lots of trees. I mounted the nr610 in the same spot as the trash can but outside and 6ft higher, old satellite mount on the roof. Using the default settings I would get 200/5. Generally the same max speed but was more reliable. But I was able to select different bands and 4g/5g settings to get a better up. I finally settled on about 120/25 max. Which i would be happy with 75/15. I just couldn't ever get that up with the trtrashcan. I did have to move the unit east to west a few times to get different towers. So yes it's omnidirectional but it still has some direction to it.I used the the vpn on open vpn and wireguard I believe, just to see it work. I don't remember how well because I have the vpn on my router so it's not needed for me.I wanted to get this style of unit because of cleaning up my office. That's one less equipment I have inside. Just an ethernet and poe injector. All antennas are internal so maximum gain, no cable loss, more speed.I looked at getting the waveform and actually bought the short cables to mod the trashcan so I could get ready to buy the waveform 4x4. But then I was back to still wanting to clean up the office. I would still have a bigger cable running outside and going to a trashcan that I wouldn't want to accidentally drop with the cables exposed on the outside. So ultimately I settled on the getting a poe unit.I didn't receive any special discount for my review. I paid around 400$ on special coupon and lighting deal savings. I wouldn't pay full price for this unit. If the elysys 5g was bit lower on the price 700$, I would have bought it since it is a directional antenna and I know where the tower is at, making it easy to align. No way would i pay that much for the elysys unit. But at this price point nr610 is the way to go unless you really need that up and down speed. For me, doing remote network management at home and other IT type roles this gets the job done at a cost I can live with. It's still pricey but it works well.

Vast improvement over the stock indoor unit
I live rather rural and have the up to 300 Verizon 5g plan. It’s amazing we get anything here. With the stock box unit I’d get 50 maybe 150 on a good day. With this unit I get 300 even over a touch almost steady. 200 being the low. Ping was always ok and has remained good even perhaps a touch better with this. I put mine on top a workshop building on a pole. The pole mount is not the best. May rework that some for better security. With Verizon you have to start the unit with no SIM card and clone your old box IMEI in the superadmin and set the APN. Find the APN on your old device settings page before disconnecting it and copy it as mine was different to all others online. Then shutdown and install your SIM card from old box and boot. I made the mistake of trying sim first and it blocks the sim so you have to go back to the stock box to activate sim again. At least that’s my experience. Finally love my internet speeds.
