It works perfectly!
Adapting optical to electric wires is easy with this. I was skeptical, but my tv now talks to a 20 year old Bose surround sound system, no problem. And the price was reasonable, too!

This is to connect an older stereo receiver (RCA), to an optical port option of a TV.Now Im able to watch and get audio through my stereo, instead of the built in tv speakers.

We have a vintage stereo receiver and this digital to analog converter, was easy to hook up and the directions got it up and working quickly. Now we can listen to our tv through the stereo with our 4 speakers.

Worked exactly like it should, great product for my use, converting sound from my TV digital sound to my older stereo system thru rc connectors

Poor audio
We have a new Samsung smart TV with an older Sony surround sound receiver and when hooked up the cables had to turn the volume up to the max to even get Ok sound.
