Bought for a bday party, have kept on for the rest of the summer. Handled several storms now we’ll, just need to make sure it’s well tied down.

This sun shade does a nice job of blocking out the sun. I took two pictures. One in the evening after the sun was going down, and one at mid-day to illustrate how well it works. I attached this shade to a 10'x12' pergola and the fit was pretty accurate. The included zip ties were a little too small for my application, so I used a larger size I had on hand. The fabric looks a little thin, but it seems to do the job for now. My tarp came with 8 grommets on the long side and 7 grommets on the short side. Spacing was pretty even and they seem to be installed well. I've had a hard time finding a good shade at this size, so I was really happy to find this one.

"Upgraded Pergola Shade Cover- 10 x 12 FT 95% Sun Shade Cloth with Grommets" The grommets pull out and the fabric rips in any kind of breeze, so it's probably not suitable for the pictured use as a carport sun shade; perhaps if you use it for half an hour and then take it down before any wind kicks up.

I was really excited about this sunshade, but it didn't work as well as I was hoping for. I put the shade up in my dog run - I attached one end to the dog house (by nailing the holes into the side of the house) and the other end to the side fencing (by zip tying the holes to the fencing).The Pros: When the sunshade is up, it does a phenomenal job of keeping the area cool. The shade allows a nice breeze to come through, and it's not stuffy at all. I also like how there's so many holes on each of the four sides - so there's lots of options to keep the shade secured. I also appreciate that the shade comes with the zip ties and the rope needed to install it.The Cons: This sunshade is definitely not as durable as I had hoped for. The part of the shade nailed to the dog house started ripping before I even finished putting the entire shade up. It has since ripped through and come undone several times since setting it up. Part of the issue with the shade coming undone could be because I live in a windy area. Additionally, I wonder if it would have stayed intact if I had used a nail hook to hang the rings onto.Overall, this product would do very well in the right situation. Maybe using only the zipties to secure the shade in a non windy geographical area would be the best scenario.

This shade cover arrived in time, with no issues. Definitely helps with keeping some of the animals out of this horrible Florida sun. Seems to be built tough, and long lasting. Will update if there are any issues that arise.

This sun shade cloth says made of high-density polyethylene material. It covers sun well and gives shade for my dogs. Color is beautiful, it looks nice on my backyard. Great item for sun cover.

Is well made from good material. Feels more like woven plastic than fabric. Holds up well in the. Wind while not ballooning to the point of damaging the attached structure. The ends are finished well and hold points are well placed. This item can work with the “movable shade” pagodas. This shade allows air to pass through so it wouldn’t do well for a location you’d prefer to trap heat into or one you’d like to keep dry, as water also passes through. Other than that it does its job well and looks nice doing so.
