Learn Guitar for Beginners - Guitar Book for Adults: With QR-Codes to over 100 Video and Audio Files

I purchased this book by Norman Ganser over 2 weeks ago and really liked It so far. What I like is the QR codes which you can use to watch videos for every lesson which are extremely helpful to me. It has some easy time signature explanation and note readings apart from basic Chords too. I also like the song accompaniments in the lessons as they have a catchy tune and are not dry and boring for a beginner.I have purchased other Beginners Guitar books before but this one is clearly the best one for an adult beginner like me.

I purchased this book as a beginner because there are about 100 codes to scan. It's helpful to see the author/instructor in short videos demonstrate proper form. That said, the book is a German style, with notes that include "H" and a style of play that is good but not what I was looking for ( flamenco guitar ). I ended up purchasing a book recommended by my teacher that uses a more methodical , simple approach. The book is good, but if you are a complete beginner like me, this style may be overwhelming. It's a very complete book so I would recommend it, but for me it's too much too fast.

This book is very informative. It's helpful in teaching musical notes an chords. A to z book for learning acoustic guitar. It has qr codes through out each lesson which are very helpful.

This is a great, well-structured book that makes it easy to learn the guitar.I've been using with it for a few days and I've enjoyed it. The videos and explanations are very helpful. The practice songs are good and I'm getting better every day. This book is intended for beginners who want to learn to play the guitar properly with good habits from the beginning. I highly recommend it!Delivery was fast.

This is a great book for beginning guitar players. I bought it for my grandson to learn chords and he's coming along very well with learning from this book. Recommend.

It has good information, but for a beginner book it could have been laid out differently. I have been playing guitar for 36 years and I was taught very old fashioned. I think the player needs to get a bunch of chords under their fingers before going into other things. I fell like the book tries to do too much, but then again it’s only so many pages. Maybe a series of books might work better.I bought it as a gift for someone wanting to learn. They didn’t really take to it yet and it currently just sits around. Hopefully they’ll reexamine it when they want to try again.

Loved the content and videos. Having videos truly makes it much easier compared to just having a book with instructions in it. The QR Codes make it very easy to load the videos quickly and is very appreciated. Great way to start from the very beginning, building the right habits from the very start.

I play other instruments and can read music and thus don't need all the stuff about notes and timing. If I skipped through all that though, I think I am missing crucial guitar-centric information mixed in. However, slogging through that stuff is too boring, and thus I won't stick with it. I probably need a real-person teacher if I ever get serious about playing a guitar. I feel like my hands won't ever have the required stretch to make chords, so I might as well hang the guitar on the wall for decor.

I am happy that this course is aimed at adult learners in an easy to pick up and study style. I especially like the accompanying video clips which flesh out the lessons making it easier to assimilate the material.

There is no shortage of books for guitar beginners, but a vast majority of them are written for children or young players. To the point where it is hard to get suitable material for an adult, who just wants to learn guitar. Often, we are stuck with books that are clearly targeted at kids with appropriate language, pictures, chosen songs and overly simplified information (which works great for young players).This book is one of the rare schools written explicitly for adults, and what a great book it is! Although he wrote other books for children, guitarist and author Norman really understands how the adult mind works, making all the right decisions in terms of compositions, strategies for developing basic guitar techniques and explanations. The "Learn Guitar for Beginners" also offers online material in the form of videos as QR codes for every composition, which makes learning progress so much easier.Highly recommend!

Great book with interactive videos

Excellent Value!I recently purchased Norman's book and was pleasantly surprised by the incredible value it offers. With 356k followers on Instagram, Norman from Guitarschool is a trusted source in the guitar community.The highlight for me was gaining access to the 24 online lessons – they are invaluable and cover a wide range of topics. What's even more impressive is how affordable this package is. Learning so much about the guitar at this price point is a steal!I highly recommend Norman's book. It was a fantastic investment in my musical journey.

With the QR codes you get helpful videos. This is useful for beginners. Many well explained lessons.
