I bought this to add a 2nd key fob for my 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. The best deal I could find at a dealer or local key shop was over $200. I chose this because it was $30 less than Simple Key and required fewer steps. I had doubts, but I read the instructions and reviews, took the new fob and the OBD dongle out to the van and in less than 2 minutes the new fob was programmed and ready to use. The only difficulty I had was, being a large guy, I couldn't reach the OBD port from the driver's seat with the doors closed. I considered doing the work from the passenger seat, lying across the center console, but instead solved this by placing the dongle partway on to the port before I got behind the wheel, so all I had to do when the time came was reach under and push it all the way on. Worked perfectly the first time including the beeps and music. I couldn't see the lights as the dongle was facing down, but it wasn't necessary. This is the way to go! Took the key blank to Ace Hardware and they cut it to match the original with no issue.

The media could not be loaded.  I needed a key programed for my 2009 VW Routan, both the VW dealership and the Chrysler dealership gave me the runaround. I even tried an independent locksmith. This thing works! Had all three of my keys programed in 10 minutes, for less than the cost of the dealership to program just one key. It comes with one key and replacements are very inexpensive from online retailers. All the functions work perfectly and the instructions are super easy to follow. Would definitely recommend this product.

I was very impressed with this. I doubted the fact that I could program it, but I had it programmed in less than 60 seconds. Very very easy setup. I couldn't find a place that would cut the little key that fits inside in case the battery dies. No one would do it. They all said I have to go to the dealership, to do it, and you know they're going to charge an arm and a leg. So what I did is I took the old key from the old fob that wasn't working, and slid it right into the new one. Works just fine. It's amazing what the dealership charges for this fob. If you need a new key fob, find the one that's suitable for your vehicle and buy it from Amazon.

I don't normally write reviews but this product is super easy to use. Works great and only took 2 minutes. I recommend this one if it fits your vehicle. Super happy with product and instructions.

I have a town and country minivan and only have one key for it and the key is dying. I purchased this along with another generic key(without the programmer) and I was able to program two new keys for my van. This was super easy to follow the instructions. The box says you can program up to 8 keys. And also once you do this it will not work with any other cars. I saved so much money from not having to go to the dealership. I’m planning to take the blank physical key to have it “cut” at a local hardware store It took less than 2 minutes to do one key. I just repeat the process for the second key and it works perfect.

Loved how easy this was to use. Just as directions stated. So simple and quick! Got three new keys working in about 5 minutes. Now I can remotely unlock doors and open back hatch and both sliders again. Something I haven't been able to do in years. I also only had the one key fob when I purchased the car, so having extra now is a big bonus. (Purchased a 2 pack of replacements at the same time as this).A HUGE Thank You to the makers of this. A decent price and a heck of a lot cheaper than what the dealer and local locksmith wanted. Had I gone through either of them it would have cost me over $1,000.Will have to see if I can find one for another car in the driveway now.Get it and you won't regret it.

Very easy to use, though it didn't work the first time because I waited too long waiting for the red LED to blink, to take the original out and put the replacement in.I programmed the Fob that came with the kit first, then two others I bought on Amazon. So now we have 4 programmed fobs. The whole process took all of about 12 minuets. The only hitch I found was the instructions don't say but you have to take the OBD2 dongle out, restart the van with a programmed key, put the OBD2 dongle in, turn off the van after the beep, take out that Fob, put a unprogrammed Fob in and turn to run, wait for the green light and the melody, turn off, remove Fob, pull out the OBD2 dongle. Repeat for as many as 8 Fobs TOTAL. Will not work on any other vehicle after first use on a particular vehicle.Great product! Now I have to get the Hidden Keys cut at the hardware store.

I normally don't do reviews, I think if someone wants me to promote their products, they should pay me but just wow! I was timid about buying this but Amazon has good return policies so I thought I'd risk it. Well it was super simple, took me longer to open and read the instructions than it did to program the new key transponder or whatever you call it ( it's one of those weird ones for a 2008 Dodge Caravan). I was going to get the Simple Key one but it was much more expensive but had good reviews but then I saw this one for cheaper and gave it a shot. Well based on the YouTube videos of how you have to program one of their keys, this one is much more simple and quicker too. The instructions were very simple and now I have a new key, not only cheaper than a dealership but also cheaper than the more name brand Simple Key. If I ever need to do this again or find someone who does, I will for sure recommend this company!
