very happy
Item arrived promptly and was well packaged. I opened it immediately because there was damage to the carton but the product was in perfect condition. Tedious to put together but would cost way more if purchased assembled. I made a couple of mistakes that could have really adversely affected something of less quality but the final assembly was beautiful and sturdy. Good instructions (if you follow them) and precision hole driling for even door alignment and drawer placement. Heavy duty wheels and drawer slides work perfectly. I did not put on the side racks because of the small corner location so can't speak for them. I covered the holes with cork bumpers. Nice looking and functional quality product for the price!

Shorter than kitchen counter
I love the look of this piece, especially the top because it doesn't look cheap. However, the drawer bottoms and backboard are thin and the wheel hardware are definitely cheap. Drawers easily slam shut if you're not careful, which don't pull out all the way. The item itself is 32.5 inches tall while the actual kitchen counter is 36 inches tall. It therefore encourages you to slouch while cooking which is the biggest downside. It feels also a bit foreign because of that height discrepancy but I'm getting used to it.The extra storage AND counterspace was needed in my new apartment that only has 21inches of counterspace, with cupboards that only fit my wares. So I've been using this new island for my baking supplies and as a pantry. And in case anyone was wondering what the back looks like (I sure did since it's a floating piece), I included a photo. I think it looks pretty nice. I don't mind that being exposed to the entryway. And pardon the mess: I took these pictures after having baked with it. Also to show that it's coming to good use already. The hooks on the side do come in handy, however I wish they locked onto the pole rather than free-hanging because sometimes removing a utensil will take the hook with it. I'm not a huge fan of how close my spatula is to the floor but this is better than nothing. As for sturdiness, I'm always concerned about that when it comes to Amazon furniture at this price point. This island doesn't wobble and the wheels don't glide around even when unlocked which is super nice. You have to give it a firm push/pull in order to move it around. This took me, by myself, about 3.5 hours to build. The instructions were mostly clear and easy to follow. Step 4 was a little difficult only because there's a lot of overlapping dotted lines, so at first I wasn't completely sure what went where. But I figured it out.In step 6, it shows to place board 8 into board 4, but that makes it into a free moving teeter-totter that will absolutely clatter to the floor (not good when you have below neighbors and no carpet). I'd suggest screwing in board 7, jump to step 7, attach board 7 to board 2. Once that's secure, THEN put board 8 in. Doing this also makes it easier to line everything up and connect at the correct lengths, which also reduces potential damage.Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. The only two things I'd change are the height and the drawer tech. I wish it was all real wood but this will work for now.

Better than I expected!
This rolling cabinet took my boyfriend and I about 2-3 hrs to complete. We did make two mistakes where we had put pieces on backwards and had to go back a few steps to take apart the pieces and reassemble it.The back pieces is a thin piece of board so it makes it look a but cheap. Also the rest of the white boards have a wood grain look to it, which you can't see from the product pictures. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The white matches perfectly with my other white shaker cabinets and the wood top matches the butcher block countertops in my kitchen. The doors at first did not align correctly, but it was an easy fix of just unscrewing the screw on the inner part of the hinge.Over all very happy with this purchase and would recommend.
