This writing board is thick and stiff. So many whiteboards are flimsy and this is the best yet. On the Division side of the board, it is nice that it has colored boxes and arrows to help guide the students work. On the Multiplication side, I found the spaces perfectly large enough to write your numbers in. Both the eraser and pen eraser did an excellent job of cleaning the board. Nice, simple, easy wipes and it was clean. No scrubbing was necessary. It is a wonderful board and will be sure to last long; provided its used kindly and cared for. This set of 6 boards could only be good for a teacher or school. As a parent, I really don't have a need for all 6 of these boards. The price seems reasonable at about $5 per set, but most people just don't need 6. I would be happy to see my kids school using these reusable boards for their students.

This is a way for students to mirror a teacher's instruction on place value. Being a kindergarten teacher, the places higher than 100 are too advanced but some kids love adding numbers and getting me to tell them what they've created. This can steer the focus off for a bit, but it's all fun. (they do the same with letters to create silly words)I recommend this as a layer for instruction.

I got these for use in my classroom and my students and I really love them. They make practicing addition and subtraction more fun than with paper and pencil. The boards seem to be made well and work great. They erase well and it comes with everything you need to get started. I really like that they are double sided and have a number line up to 10 to start with then can move up to the 20 one. This set is perfect for a small class or small group work.

In our first math module, my Grade 5 students learn about whole numbers and their place values through the millions. We cover standard, expanded, and word forms. Later on, we will cover numbers with decimal place values to the thousandths.A couple weeks into the school year, I've already used these whiteboards with small groups of students, so they can practice and improve their understanding.Even if these boards have a rather narrow, specific academic purpose, they've helped my students get off to a strong start!The boards have great graphics and construction, so I see them lasting for many years, to be used by multiple future classes. This adds considerably to their overall value.

These boards are helpful for students to practice writing numbers in the various forms all in one place. We will also use them to play games in math centers when reviewing and studying place value. I appreciate that there are 2 sides, and that the one side includes place value up to billions - perfect for 4th and 5th grade. I will say with the markers and erasers on the markers these only erase about 90 percent cleanly - as you can see on the 2nd picture, there's still some residue/smudging after erasing and that's after just one use. I'm a little nervous to see how they fair over the course of the school year, but I'm hopeful regularly cleaning with board cleaner will keep them in good shape.

Great product to have on hand for small group instruction. Useful product for assisting in teaching littles addition and subtraction. Love that is comes double sided (0-10 and 0-20) which is perfect for my kindergartners at the beginning of the year and as the year progresses they can then flip it over and work with bigger numbers.
