Basic gel headache/migraine head wrap
This headache relief cap arrived in a plastic bag with no logo on it, and no instructions. If you’ve never tried this type of product, you’ll probably need to do some research; I expected directions on how to refrigerate/freeze and heat it. Cleaning instructions would also be helpful. That said, it has no odor, fits well, and is very comfortable. The gel is cool and pain relieving as it is. The Amazon description does help clarify the different uses for this product, and it seems well made.

Good Gel Cap - Works Well
I got one of these for my sister who occasionally suffers from migraines. She "lent" it to a friend and never saw it again. I am getting this as a replacement for her. This is listed with Expert Grade gel. Oddly, this one arrived without any instructions, just in a plastic outer bag. Luckily, its use is intuitive. As such, it can be used for Cold or Hot therapy. It can be used by refrigerating it instead of freezing as well. It is a 360 degree coverage hat which can be worn over the eyes or above. The hat should not be machine washed, (due to the gel contents). If it needs cleaning, it is recommended that it be wiped down and allowed to air dry. This is very useful for my sister. It stretch fits well and gives her comfort/relief when needed.

As comfortable as a face hugger from the movie Alien
Okay, you got me, it's way more comfortable than a face hugger. This ting feels like your whole head is being encased in a hug, and squeeeeezed. It gives a moderate amount of pressure to it's hold, almost felt UNcomfortable at first, but that feeling quickly changed over, once you realize that the pressures are helping your tired swollen eyes, and it lifts and holds the skin of your cheeks and temples, hopefully it'll help keep those areas from sagging too much.Since you can use it at room temp, or can heat it or cool it, between the pressure and temperature changes it really helped me with my migraines. I used to get regular migraines occasionally, then somehow I started getting silent migraines instead. Before you get jealous, there's problems with this also. I may not get the pain, but I get those danged auras, so my vision gets wonky, and it can last for a couple of days. This mask really helped me with that, so far it seems like it's help reduce the effects of them. So, would I buy this again? Yes. Would I recommend it to others? Yes, already have.

Remarkably cool
This is much heavier and squishier than I had anticipated, but the biggest surprise was that it feels so cool on the head, even if you just store it at room temperature. Normally, you put something room temp on your skin and it feels cool for a brief time but then quickly warms to body temp. Not this. It stays room temp for a long time, effectively sucking a ton of heat from whatever it is touching and feeling like it was very cool to begin with. I can't imagine sticking it in the fridge first and I suspect the freezer would be outright dangerous. If you don't have a headache and you aren't trying to cool off, you may not like this. I didn't. Another family member, however, says that it was fantastic for her headache, which is what it was designed for. That being the case, I guess it deserves all 5 stars.

Fantastic headache helper
I didn't know what to expect when ordering this because I hadn't tried anything like it before. It is slightly squishy and weighted and literally provided instant relief for my tension headache when I first tried it on. I hadn't put it in the fridge, freezer or microwave before trying--I just put it on right out of the package and it felt so cool, like it had already been refrigerated. If I didn't look so silly wearing it, I'd want to wear it all day, everywhere I go...it feels that amazing. I love this cap so much and will get a lot of use out of it. I am still trying to figure out how to avoid getting such terrible hat hair while wearing this...I have been trying to pull my hair up in a scrunchie bun on top of my head, but it is a little tricky to keep it in place when pulling this on because it is fitted, almost like a wetsuit material, but better, softer and oh so comfy. This is absolutely worth trying if you suffer from migraines or any kind of tension headaches...it totally helps to minimize eye strain and fatigue if worn while working on the computer.

Like a Cold Weighted Blanket for Your Head
This relief cap is not quite what I expected. It is like a cold weighted blanket for my head. Unfortunately since I have gotten it I haven't had a migraine. I have tried it on and love that it goes over my ears and the weighted feel is wonderful. I just wish it was a little bigger. I feel like it is tight on my eyes. Although it does have stretch it doesn't feel like it will really stretch out and be loose over my eyes. I don't look forward to getting a migraine but I do look forward to trying this relief cap out. I really think the cold gel feel and the weighted feel will really help.

Hot/Cold therapy. block light well. relief
Fit well no issues and after overnight refrigeration did a great job taking care of my headache. After getting it out of the fridge the best is to place it and remove it if you feel is too cold and wait before placing it back. I have been using this type of cap to get relief from working overnight and this one works great. Block the light well and the material seems good. Can be used for hot therapy by placing it in the microwave But I prefer cold therapy.

Feels great
This head pack is what I’ve been missing all along for a headache. It provided me an instant relief. I feel good after about 20 mins of application. It stays cold for hours. No mess or leakage of any kind.
