I bought this lock in August 2023 for my front door. So, I have now used it about 3 months. This lock by GLV is great! My wife asks why I waited so long to get a digital lock (she hates to carry keys). This lock does what a digital lock should do. It secures the door with a deadbolt, unlocks with a fingerprint, your own combination, a physical key (2 included), a key card (2 included) or the app in my phone. I also purchased a gateway for it. Using the Smart Life app on my cell phone, I can now check the lock status, unlock or lock the door from anywhere I have an internet connection. In the app it maintains a log of how the lock was accessed and by whom. I also like that the lock uses a 6 digit combination instead of 4 digits. I use my fingerprint most often. I have stored both left and right index fingerprints. Only the fingerprints I have added/scanned work to unlock the door. I have not tried the key cards yet. After 2 months, the batteries (uses AA) are still at 80%.Physical installation was pretty easy. My door already had a deadbolt lock. So, this was mostly a fit and replace job. You do need to have good alignment into the hole of the door frame for the deadbolt. I had some sticking when I first installed it. I made a slight adjustment of the plate in the door frame for the deadbolt. Now, after 2 months of use, it smoothed out and works without any problem.I managed to get the software and gateway installed/connected to my Samsung Galaxy (Android) phone. To be honest, it took a few tries to get the phone software and gateway to “talk”.Everyone that sees it is amazed at how easy and fast it works to unlock the door. Several people have asked me where they can buy one. I did a lot of reading of both reviews and specifications on Amazon. This lock by GJV is solid and a great value. Highly recommended by me (and my wife). It makes life a little easier .

I did a deep dive before purchasing this Keyless Deadbolt. Searching through numerous other keyless deadbolts, this was the unit I decided to buy. This was the greatest buy ever. It came with 2 key cards, and 2 keys. You can use your fingerprint or a passcode to unlock the deadbolt. Download the required app to use the functions. This unit is very easy to install even if you are not tech savvy. It took me somewhere around 15 or 20 minutes to stall this. You will need to purchase 4 AA batteries as they are not provided. This keyless deadbolt has a very sleek design and is very nice looking on my door. When you are trying to unlock the door at night just press the keypad anywhere and it will light up. To lock it all you have to do is press the lock icon twice and it will automatically lock the door you don't need to enter code to lock your door. The unit will also announce when the door locks or unlocks. I'm just very happy overall with this lock and plan to purchase another. I also feel that the price for this unit was very reasonable.

The product was so easy to use connected through an app. Is very easy to use and to install. On top of it all it adds such an elegant look to our front door and home entrance. I would recommend to anyone.

I bought this for my front door primarily for the auto lock behind you after door is closed. This function works well! It was easy to set up after installation. Installation took some figuring out. Getting the outside of door installed was easy. The inside a little more difficult, the tiny screws weren’t long enough to screw to anything and the other screws provided wouldn’t fit. I ended up taking it all down and realized I had the Mount plate on backwards. There’s a sticker on it which should face out. The tiny screws still didn’t work but two of the longer ones would now fit with some extra effort. Happy with the purchase so far!

The media could not be loaded.  Opening the box the first thing one see is the clever packaging, so the sensitive parts are not damaged. If you replace your previous lock, like in my case, it can help to keep the previous screws, as it is easier to be assembled the GJV lock. please make sure you really follow the steps as per the manual (once you see the app on your phone screen, one might tend to start manipulating the lock, so just refrain and follow the manual ;) ). if you missed any step, it is super easy to reset from your phone, several times. the mechanical installation is super easy, especially if you had already a lock in place. once all the steps are followed correctly all features work perfectly (open/clos with your phone, finger print, codes) and the self locking function is really useful. no need to worry that you forgot to lock the door ;) . all the activities are visible on your phone live. all in all a very reliable and economical hi-tech lock.

I was able to set everything including multiple finger scans and multiple lock codes. It was very easy and everything worked perfectly. Only one reminder, when you press pass lock code on the panel, you need to press bell sign (at the end of pressing code) located at the right side bottom corner which is not mentioned in the website description. The auto lock option with the voice sound is cool. The App from phone works great. It really works and gives great control of lock position, opening, closing from any location. Overall I am very happy with the quality of the product at reasonable cost.

Great lock, easy to install and a breeze to pair with the Smart Life app. Tons of features, I especially like the temporary codes that can be created for different time periods. Fingerprint reader works well too, although it is a bit finicky and not the fastest.It is Bluetooth only but is sufficient for my needs, but if I want to connect it to Google Home in the future, I will definitely consider pairing it with a smart gateway.

Love this lock! So easy to install and set up. It’s perfect for a large family. You can set up multiple fingerprints, codes, and the RFID cards are just the right thing for the older folks in my home. They have trouble with new technology. I suggest that you also buy the Gateway that they offer as it allows you to remotely unlock the door. This sends you alerts, and has a log of all entries. I really am glad I bought this.
