Brilliant, it is exactly as advertised. Beautiful design and quality paper. Highly recommended.

It works perfectly for what I needed it for, the cover design is very pretty too, so showing it off on my shelf is nice.One tiny minus point though is that is doesn’t have a ribbon bookmark, but that’s just a minor preference my end. Overall a great product

I first found this notebook for sale in a local stately home giftshop and was struck by how beautiful it was. The design is so delicate and slightly embossed to give it texture - brighter than it appears here, with silvery tracing on it. The paper was of such good quality, rich cream colour with subtle lines that provide guidance but don't overpower, suitable for any kind of pen. I knew straight away that it would make a lovely gift but came home to see if my 'cave of treasure' otherwise known as Amazon.co.uk was selling it and could do it at a better price ! I was not disappointed and bought the matching bookmark to go with it. As it is one of the smaller ones in their range - near A6 size, the lines in it are closer together than in the larger notebooks which is why I would not buy it for myself. If they did it in the larger version though I would snap it up as it is so lovely. The person I bought it for absolutely loves it and says it is just a nice size to carry around with her in her handbag.

In addition to being a lovely size, small enough to not be a nuisance but big enough to write in comfortably, it also is a sturdy hardback with a shiny surface (I was expecting fabric cover but much happier that it's smooth and sturdy).The design is beautiful, and I expect it shall last the test of time.Also got a pleasant surprise as it has a little bit on the inside back cover like a pocket you can put things in - maybe mementos for example like a ticket from the theatre etc!It's like...the perfect journal design in my opinion, and I'm sure there are other designs if you wanted variety.

The notebook is beautiful and the colors are the same as in the picture. The paper is great quality and I like that the lines on the pages are very light. I was expecting more gold foil, but the small accents are pretty too.
