Many times I wanted access to my extension cord in both directions of the outlet but traditional cords only go one way. This one goes in both directions allowing easy and convenient access to power from one outlet.

Never seen a cord like this. But certainly fills a need and frees up a plug. We have been using two cords to run two different directions in our living room. Now this one frees the bottom plug for use for other things. Quality is on par with other household cords I have used.
