This was much more finished and attractive than I anticipated. It arrived pressed and rolled. It is slightly stiffened as if woven with sizing. It is uniformly woven with serged edges on all four sides. If one wants to fray the edges it can easily be done by shearing off the serging. I personally prefer the finished edge as we are using this as a table runner for wedding buffet food. It will look crisp and clean on my buffet tables. There is no objectionable odor as the packaging suggested there might be. The size was as advertised.

I am using this table runner for my future daughter in laws bridal shower. The runner is long enough for several tables. The theme of the fall shower is eucalyptus and burlap with glam. I will put the runner on the table with gold glitter bridal scatter. Gifts for guests in brown paper bags with a raffia tie and cinnamon stick.Good value for this long wide table runner. The runner smells rustic like burlap but I think the smell of burlap adds to the rustic flavor of the event.
