Less movement hand-holding
The "ball head" connection to the tripod is very loose with .318 cm gap causing a substantial amount of movement (rocking) between the head and the tripod. Which defeats the purpose for using a tripod. Don't waste your money.

This is a very fine/exquisitely tripod
I own many Tripods big and small. This is the nicest finished tripods. It’s not as light weight as carbon fiber one. But this one is not heavy, very tightly packed and just the right size. It’s functionalities are wonderful: the bullhead is great and very low profile. You can set the ball head to drag friction by releasing the ball head lock just enough. It can get super low to the ground. All in all this is my favorite tripods ahead of my Really Right Stuff, Gitzo, Leofoto. It’s lightweight enough and super compact and so very functional.

Ridiculously good quality in a small package.
What an incredibly well built, useful, tripod. I actually can't believe that something can be this small, light and steady at this price point.I used this recently at an airshow - supporting a Canon R5 with RF100-500 lens - and it was great. One of the things I appreciated was the fact that the tripod has removable rubber feet that reveal metal spikes: these are great for steadying on lawn and natural surfaces.Compared to my normal, full size, tripod, the SmallRig really is a Small Rig! When I was looking at video and written reviews online, this tripod was actually lighter than many of the small carbon fibre units I found.I also like the fact that there is no central column and that the legs fold up completely against each other as a result of that. The tripod can also be opened almost fully flat on the ground.Thoroughly recommend this.

The ballhead sucks....
I bought this tripod for it's light weight.....which it has.I bought this tripod for it's sturdiness....which it has.I bought this tripod for it's stability.....which it "HAS NOT"!!!!The ballhead can only be tightened so far...and is still not tight enough to hold the camera in place...rendering it a totally useless product.. I never use it and never will. Don't waste your money.
