The Good:* Frame rate and button response is adequate, I didn't feel like it was lagging.* Screen is bright and reasonably clear.* Comes with a TV hookup as well as a second controller (cheap feeling but functional)* Battery life of 6 hours is nice.* Replaceable battery.The Neutral:* Weighs 3.5oz Feels extremely lightThe Bad:* While some games included seem to be the originals specifically Contra for me was great. There are some strange hybrids included like Mario Bros 6 which is actually Tiny toon adventures but with the main character sprite replaced with mario.* Again I was a little bummed about it including a lot of hybrid modified games instead of more actual classics like Zelda, Mario Bros 2.Overall: With a price coming in under $20 bucks for a rechargeable battery, decent screen and perhaps some games that bring back those feelings of nostalgia, it might be a fun buy. However, just beware that if you are assuming with 500 games your favorite has to be there, you may be disappointed.

Quite excited to see such an item available for such a low price. I liked the idea of having 500 games in one place, in the style of an old school Nintendo Gameboy, and being able to play two players and even hooking it up to a TV.Once the item arrived, I was less than enthused. It's not to say that the unit isn't worth the low price for what it delivers, but the promise and nostalgia is worth more than what was put into it.It is a very lightweight plastic construction, pretty decent quality screen of a couple inches, and a lightweight USB corded controller. The 500 games, is really about 250, as most of the games appear to be relisted after that point (didn't confirm or count exactly). There are multiple versions of the same game as well, so this might be variations available to different countries. The size of the unit is about that of a wallet or larger deck of cards.This system is more for children to get a taste of the "old days" of gameplay and hand-eye coordination for much less than a current generation Switch or something similar. The screen displays very nicely, but the controls aren't always accurate (90% accurate) or responsive for some of the games that require it. I didn't hook it up to the TV yet, as my review shows my level of dedication to the unit.If you're looking to relive your old days and play like you remember, either spend more for a current generation of emulator system (around a hundred bucks) or purchase one of the systems you had as a kid (bit more than that).Again, you get a lot for what you're paying for, but it isn't to the level an adult might want it to be.

I have several of these handheld systems and they are so much fun. Very nostalgic titles. Easy to use. They all claim to have 500 titles but some are repeats. But there’s still over 300 titles which leaves you plenty of games to play. I also love that it plugs into the tv. The graphics are very 90s but I’m fine with that.

I was an 80s kid who loved playing video games. I had the Nintendo NES, Sega game console as well as all the different variations of the Game Boy.This portable gaming console brings back great memories and I love the pre-installed games that I can pick and choose to play anytime I’d like.The package came with lots of accessories for charging as well as connecting to your TV and playing with a remote control if you’d like.I like old school so I just had fun playing on the game console itself.Lots and lots of games to pick from and they were fun to play.Great little toy for your child or the child within yourself.

Love that my kids can use this retro game. Has so many pre-loaded games. Even I tinker with it from time to time for some games from my youth. It’s rechargeable, easily portable, no internet necessary.
