Do not buy won’t last
I instarted this new wiper motor six months ago. I’ve only driven my jeep a handful of times since the install and it stopped working again today. Of course it’s out of warranty and I can’t return it or exchange it.

It’s quiet again
Replaced a factory motor that had gotten very noisy and just quit working recently. This went in very easily after getting the wiper arms off. Make sure to line the mechanism, the dry out over time. Mark the seesaw with a permanent marker to line things back up. Works perfect!

The media could not be loaded. I’m in Wellington New Zealand and was abit skeptical wether the motor would work but it worked just fine and was easy to replace now just gotta see how long it lasts. Will update if it plays up and stops working but for now it was by far the best value! Every Jeep shop and even jeep scrap yard parts were over $500 so I would recommend buying this and changing it out yourself! It totalled to about $150 NZD part + shipping. I only got the motor and it was still easy but if you want it even easier then I’d say just buy the whole thing with the arms included.

Fairly priced. Installed correctly. Wipes the windows properly. Good replacement part.
This windshield wiper motor installed in my 2008 Jeep Wrangler. I took them out and compared. A little different wiring system. After the install. It worked. Wipes with single and intermittent. Good replacement motor.

Perfect fit; works as intended with one caveat….
Installing it was fairly straightforward, one important caveat is make sure to keep the motor arms aligned in exact position that it is when it comes out of the box. Mark (using a sharpee) above and below the motor arms for reference. There are plenty of quality YouTube videos that state not to move the arms, we did and fortunately we were able to get them back in alignment.

Not quite the right fit
I had been in the market for one of these for some time and this appeared to be a good choice but upon trying to fit the component it became apparent that the motor was designed for a left hand drive model. I live in a country with right hand drive vehicle and the reduction gear assembly was on the wrong side. Do not purchase if you live in the UK, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, or other countries where vehicles are right hand drive and have left hand/side traffic flow.
