It's beautiful, well-built, and very easy to install. As a remodeling contractor, I've installed many types of wall-mounted shower seats, and this one is by far the best. It's critical to ensure that the wall has strong support studs for the seat. I don't recommend attempting to install any seat without opening the walls to install support studs. There are only six screws that come with 5/16 anchors that could work for an unsupported install, but the stability of the seat, and the weight limitations would be very questionable in my opinion. With support studs, there's no need to use the plastic anchors.My only gripe is the type of screws they come with. They're 2 inches in length, and that's fine. But they're allen wrench screws instead of cross tip or hex nut. The allen wrench is included, but it makes the tightening process painful. After boring through the tile, make sure you predrill into the studs before attempting to tighten the allen screws or you'll never be able to turn these screws with your bare hands.Note: Use the right size bit so that the screws are locked tightly into the stud. If the bit's too large, the screws will be too loose. However, if it does happen, then apply some Locktite Ultimate to the screw threads before installing and let the Locktite set 24 hrs before using the seat. I hope this helps.

My 100-year-old neighbor needed a shower seat had to be teak wood got this for her and she loves it. Not only comfortable for her sit on she like the look of it on the wall and that it folds upThe stainless steel felt strong and mounting was fast with the template. Hint use an extended bit so not the mark the wood

This shower chair is so nice when you want to sit in the shower and relax a bit. For us elderly folks it is safe and provides morecomfort and adds beauty to our walk-in shower.

Love the fact that it folds up on the wall when not needed. Sturdy enough and convenient.

It looks like a well built shower seat. We haven't installed it yet because the shower area is completed.

The chair is well made, but the hardware supplied is a joke. The screws are 2.5" long and have metric hex heads!! They expect you to use a little allen wrench to install this thing? Awful. Drill 5/16 holes, use different anchors than the plastic ones supplied and finally use normal screws so you can use your drill afterward when mounting it.

I ordered the larger 19inch shower seat and glad I did. I am not obese, but I LOVE having a larger seat that I can put my foot on if needed to clip my nails. Additionally, this wood is SMOOTH and comfortable.Highly recommend..
