The case was clearly designed for the Ally and not just another Steam Deck/Ally compromise. There's no rattling around and the flap that protects the screen keeps the Ally securely in place. Both hand grip portions are well supported with the contoured bottom of the case. The zipper design also ensures it won't make contact with the device at all. All in all, a really good case for how early it is to market. There will likely be others that come out with even better designs, but this is more than sufficient and the slimmest profile (not to mention, very good value compared to the official Asus case) out of all the early ROG Ally cases I own.A slight word of caution: the zipper pouch for charger and cable storage will accommodate a couple of cables just fine, but you will need a pretty thin charger to be able to fit in there without stressing the Ally or the case zippers. This case really is designed as a hard case with the thinnest profile and contoured shape.Regardless, it still comes highly recommended.

Fits great...zero movement. I bought a shell for the ally and it fits both with or without. It has a flap that holds it in and has micro SD storage that will keep it super snug. I decided to cut it out for ease of use. Also, the case is pretty slim. This case is the one to buy.

An excellent carrying case for the ROG Ally. My only recommendation would be to make the material a little bit harder. Similar to what is found on the TomToc case for the Steam Deck. That is my only recommendation, but overall, it is an excellent carrying case and fits the ROG Ally perfectly. I am pleased with the purchase.

I had the old design of this product which didn’t fit the new ROG ALLY X. However, they updated the design and now it fits the new ALLY X perfectly fine, just a small note, when you place your ally x make sure you align to the middle because back buttons are easily pressed if it is not aligned.

The Ally fits really well. Not loose at all. A little extra space on top for a cable or two, but not enough for a charger.The extra flaps inside are a little fiddly, but do give the screen extra protection when zipped up.Don't expect to use the case as a stand though, as the vents in the back are completely blocked .For protection when throwing into a bigger bag, it looks like it will work well and not be too bulky.

I got this so that I had something to cover my ally while in my backpack. This case has been awesome for that so far, it fits the ally very well and does not feel like its bouncing around within the case. It doesnt feel super premium like a more high end case but it is more than acceptable, especially for the price. The hard shell is hard enough that I do not worry about other things in my back pack causing damage or anything. It does have a pocket on the inside but I would say only for cables, trying to fit some kind of power brick in there could potentially cause damage. Overall I am very happy with the purchase and it is exactly what I was looking for. If you are looking for an all in one solution to carry everything you need I would look elsewhere as this is more on the smaller side.
