Easy to use obd scanner tool
I have a few different obd scanner tools and like the others this one works well. I like its large color screen and easy to use functions. It allows me to do basic scans and find fault codes if my check engine light comes on. Since I’m a big DIY guy when it comes to my car this helps me out a lot with checking and clearing codes for issues I have fixed.

It really works
It worked on my 2014 KIA Soul and my 2012 Chev ImpalaThe code was easy to find on both cars and easy to fix and clear, One was low on oil and the other an old battery code stored.

A great tool that I should have ordered sooner
I've owned a succession of late 90's and early 2000's model Camrys. I have another one now that I've vowed to take better care of. My mechanic type friend suggested I get one of these to get a jump on preventive maintenance. Well, I ordered this one and when it came in, my friend said, why did you get one so expensive? Should have gotten one for $20! That was before he plugged this one into my car. First of all, he was impressed it came on a cable and that he could read it without bending way over under the dash. He found that sort of amazing. Then he said the readouts took a lot of guesswork out of the system. Still have to look up the codes but it was less opaque and more informative. He liked it so much he wanted to walk away with mine, but I told him to order his own, lol. Anyway, an indespensible piece of maintenance kit for that sweet spot for cars younger than 1998 and before the real recent ones that use they newer and more confusing ODB protocol.
