Very good entry level record player
Ordered this to replace my daughter's suitcase style record player which had a super cute vintage look but never played albums well. Set up of this record player was a breeze, the speaker cables ends are color coded with the inputs so there's no guessing where they go. The controls are very simple. Set the right knob to phono, turn the left power/volume knob on and remember to slide the arm guard off the stylus. While the record player features an auto stop, it does not feature an auto play. You'll want to use the lever to lift the arm, slide it into position over the record, then use the lever to drop the needle. It does drop very gently.Sound is clear but even max volume is not super loud. There is an RCA output if you would like to amp up the volume with your own receiver and speakers, but for most occasions this is plenty adequate. I'd recommend this set for someone who is casual about vinyl- either someone just getting started or someone who has old albums they want to play without investing a great deal of time or money. It has a nice retro look and is incredibly easy to use. The record player can sit atop the speakers but I think sound is somewhat better if they are placed on either side of it. To listen to music from another device via bluetooth, turn the BT/Phono knob to BT. One thing to note: there is a cut out in the cover because albums do protrude out the side. This would probably not be a good choice in a dusty environment and you are going to want to be vigilant about not leaving a record on the player when you're done listening.

Absolute trash - DO NOT BUY - broke in only 4 mos!
If you're considering this record player, CHOOSE ANOTHER! I'll start with the glaringly obvious: if you want a record player, you certainly want it to play records, right? This does not do that! Within 4 mos, the motor is shot and it literally cannot play a record. The speed fluctuates so much, and everything sounds terrible! Not "a little off", like, I cannot stand another second of this fast-slow, low-high total awful sound! It literally just doesn't work. This started after maybe a month, but it hung on for another couple mos (we aren't audiophiles or anything, just like to hang out and listen to music vs watch TV). So yeah, this machine doesn't do the very basic function it is designed for - hard pass. Now, say it HAD continued working (which it has not): the speakers are so sub-par. Our little tiny Alexa sounds better. Our super old speaker from the dollar store sounds better! So, do not buy this for "good" sound quality. We had planned to purchase additional speakers, because for the price this seemed like an ok starter system. Looks: this is one area it is ok. The look is classic enough, but still kind of modern. It looks nice on the mantle. Up close it shows that it's cheap materials - but it doesn't look totally awful. I do like that records still play when the lid is closed. It had potential - good price, looked alright, fit our space, had the ability to connect better sound system, and in theory would play music. However, it doesn't play music, so it will have to look great in the trash. Pass on this and get ANY other record player! If it works, you have gotten a better system!

Nice, compact record player
The media could not be loaded. I can appreciate this record player. It's lightweight, not nearly as heavy as my older one. Which can be a plus if you're a person who likes to redecorate your home. The wood grain color blends well with my stand. And the speakers fit easily in my stand, so portability rating is at a high 5 out of 5. The player I have has a clear cover to it, so you can cover your vinyl while it's playing safely. The sound quality is decent. However i am a little disappointed that the volume doesn't get very high. What most would consider a "medium volume" is the maximum for this particular player. As an audiophile,I would have appreciated more volume and the acoustics to be a little better. However, for the price, it is a good buy. Like I said, portability is A+, the weight is good for just about any able-bodied person, and the sound quality is decent. I give it a 4 out 5.

Low end quality all around
I received this as a gift and was super excited to start spinning some records. That was, until I heard the speakers and quality of the sound. I would give it a 3 out if 10 on sound. It’s a really cheap, barely any bass, tinny sound. So, I disconnected the speakers and hooked it up to my stereo. That produced a much better sound, but there was a new problem, buzzing. That would normally be taken care of by a ground wire, but this turntable does not have one. Nor does it have a switch to turn the pre amp to a phono setting. Don’t waste your money, buy a nicer turntable.

Great speakers, and really easy to use!
This record player has become my favorite item in the house for music as I can switch from Bluetooth to a record on the turn table just like that.It has two speaker units that can be arranged however is convenient for you, I have mine underneath the record player but they don’t have to be!The speakers have good clarity, volume, and a proper mix of high, mid, and low notes, and don’t seem to draw too much power either as I run these very frequently and have noticed no discernible change in my electric bill that would be caused by this.Pros:Easy to set up and arrangeVery convenient Bluetooth and turntable compatibilityGreat soundCons:NoneOverall I am very pleased with this and I’m more than glad that I went with this specific record player!
